do not use this attorney. he is incompetent.
i first hired him in 2006 after my father died. i am a disabled adult and he just took my money and did nothing but give me bad advice. he didn’t even look up the law regarding wills and disabled adult children who cannot be left out of a will by louisiana law.
when i told him that i was disabled, he looked at me and said: «you certainly don’t look disabled». duh? with 20 years of medical records, not everyone «looks» disabled, but they could be. this was insensitive and ignorant.
i gave him a retainer of $ 500.00. he wrote two letters. i requested a bill with a breakdown of his expenses. he has yet to provide that to me.
in addition, he gave me incorrect legal advice!!! i have consulted another attorney and am finally able to pursue my case with a competent attorney.
do not use this attorney. i was referred to him by another friend, and she isn’t using him either because he screwed up her mother’s estate.
