Very unique and incredible art. Talented artist with such beautiful subjects — wish we were able to take some of his art work home. We wandered into this place as we were walking the side streets of the French Quarter and were amazed by a painting of a woman with a Japanese Cherry Blossom. A true artist :-)

Met Craig tonight finally. He is truly a great guy and very friendly and down to earth. You have to visit his gallery. We have visited a half dozen times and always love seeing his new works. Tonight we bought our first.

Amazing gallery. I got to personally chat with Craig for a good 10 – 15 minutes about his work and little about his past. Genuine guy and down to earth. I had mentioned I’ve seen some work like his somewhere else, but couldn’t recall who did it or where I saw it. Then I mentioned to him one of the pieces I had seen was body painting in the form of a fiat car. He smiled and said follow me. Took out a picture and it was the fiat car. He said they commissioned him to do that. So turns out all the work I had seen previously was his and not somebody else. I was amazed that I was actually meeting the guy that had done this work while years prior I was forwarding his work around to friends without knowing it. Completely unexpected encounter and had no idea he had a gallery in NOLA. Really made my day and for some good conversations with Craig. I would definitely buy some of his work, but I just don’t have the spare cash to afford it. Maybe someday!

If you watch Skin Wars on TV you know who Craig Tracy is, one of the best skin artist there is. His work is unbelievable. His gallery was amazing. We talked to his brother. This is a must see place in the French Quarters of New Orleans.

My favorite gallery in the area! So beautiful and unique. The staff was incredibly friendly and also gave us tips on different things to do in the city. The art was sadly out of my budget at this time but just viewing it is worth the visit!

Artwork is neat but extremely rude and disrespectful guy working there(artist’s brother) made me wish I’d never gone in. I guess you’re not welcome if you just want to browse and peruse, you’ll get harassed like me.

The art work here is phenomenal and definitely a must see. I was soaking up the last hours of my trip today and staggered upon this gallery. I don’t think that I have the words to do it justice, this is something that you must see for yourself. A full gallery of photographs of art on human bodies. I would love to commission a piece of my own. I inquired about it, however, I am not necessarily pleased with the response that I received. I feel as though I may have been dismissed as… I don’t know… someone not seriously willing or able to do a commissioned piece. The guy(not the Artist) just kept going on and on about the prints for sale, how they aren’t about the people(the volunteers) in them and how the Artist rarely does commissions. Hmmm. What could be more lovely than owning a piece that has special meaning for the owner? Never mind the fact that while he is saying these(nonsense) things to me, a customer was there waiting to get started with her commissioned piece. Again, hmmm. The sheer beauty of the work is worth the visit, this is why I give it a 4. The artwork itself deserves a 10. However, I didn’t leave with a warm fuzzy feeling about following up on what I would really want to purchase based on this interaction. That is why I didn’t give it a 5.

I found this gallery extremely enjoyable! His artwork is amazing and his brother is very nice to talk with about Craig’s art and current projects. Definitely won’t forget this stop in New Orleans and hope to come back someday to see again.

We were wandering through the French Quarter after having a delicious lunch and we stumbled upon this gallery. I wasn’t familiar with Craig Tracy before we came in here, but he’s an artist I won’t soon forget. His bodyart pieces are BREATHTAKING. He is a true artist. There are several videos playing that show the process he completes to put a piece together. The art pieces are priced anywhere from about $ 85 print copy to $ 23,000 for a signed original. Beautiful artwork. Simply beautiful.

First time I wandered into this gallery, I just couldn’t help but laugh. Mostly because the little boy I grew up with has made good! Love his aesthetic and his creativity. His path to this gallery has been quite twisty & turny but that all influences his art. He sells both original works, prints, limited editions and does commissions. His trompe l’oeil style is fascinating and is the most beautiful camouflage you’ve ever seen. The gallery space is lovely and there are usually videos playing that demonstrate his process. Definitely a must stop while you’re wandering the quarter.

Craig is a brilliant artist, and I had been watching his work for a few years. On this last trip to New Orleans, I had a chance to talk with him and his brother, Phil, at the gallery. Both are incredibly nice guys, Craig’s work is even better in person, and he’s a lovely to just hang out and talk to about his work. And Phil is thoughtful and thorough on explaining options on the work and pricing. I bought a piece of artwork there, and I can’t wait to see it on the wall.

There are times when 5 stars is not enough. Craig Tracy is not only an amazing artist but a New Orleans native that represents the best of the city’s spirit. Along with his brother Phil who is a good guy in his own right, they run an amazing gallery with wonderful art. Nothing that is going to be written here will do justice to the vision and talent of Craig. Go to the website to get an idea of what he is all about. We feel fortunate to have collected two of his pieces while we are there including the 1⁄1 Aritist’ Proof of Quiver. Lucky us and THANKYOU Craig and Phil. Huge fans. We feel like part of the family now. Stop in the gallery and get excited!

Around March 22, 2013, my wife and I were exploring downtown New Orleans and examining the many artist shops along the way when we stumbled upon Craig Tracy’s gallery. Since we had previously heard about his work from an art store employee the day prior, we decided to take a look. Forty five minutes later we happily walked away after purchasing 4 different canvasses. Craig Tracy is a master of body painting, and the raw emotion my wife and I felt from examining all of his pieces were unrivaled to anything we have experienced in body painting art. Each piece, regardless of ones tastes, radiates an intense emotion, and I was super excited to see that Craig Tracy was not only in the gallery that day, but agreed to give us a copy of his book for free, signed, as well as personally customize our paintings by hand-sketching a unique design on the back of each. Craig was an extremely nice guy, and I’ll visit his gallery from now on when I’m in New Orleans. Craig’s brother was the individual who assisted us the most, and he was extremely cordial, polite, and informative. He never pushed for us to buy anything, but when we explained which paintings we were interested in, he proceeded to tell us the story and background for each piece. He was, for lack of subtlety, a reason we made our purchases. The price of Craig’s work is determined by canvass size and rarity. Most(if not all) canvass paintings have a limited number created, which definitely helps boost the value of his work. Not to mention that if you catch him in the studio he will customize your canvass for you. Here are the canvasses I purchased and why(if you care: P): Trixie —(Sense of fantasy, supernatural, wonderment, and power) Seven Angel —(Cautious tranquility, religious) Aurora —(Adventure, unknown, and amazement) Inclement — Eyes Open —(Challenging, confronting, piercing) Even if you aren’t interested in purchasing, you owe it to yourself to visit his gallery and just enjoy the artwork.

I am definitely a fan of this artist. We stopped in here among many other places while out in the quarter and the stuff that I saw was amazing. His work is incredibly detailed and I would love to own an original piece at some point. The artist was on hand to answer questions and there was also a video you could watch showing the process involved. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

How do I even begin to explain how amazing the art was in here. While my mom is an artist, music has been more my mistress. Still, even with me being far from an art expert, I was completely blown away by Craig Tracy’s works. I visited several galleries when I was wandering around during the day. I honestly can’t remember that many of them, but I certainly remember this one. The paintings were breathtaking and you had to look further into some of them to even realize that there were humans used as models to create various shapes, animals, and poses. It’s hard to fully explain in words to be honest. I did behave myself as the paintings aren’t cheap(not that they should be). I did come close to buying a print as just to have something from him would be great. I held back a bit this time, but I can’t guarantee that I will be able to with hold on my next trip to NOLA.

Craig is probably one of the most fascinating people on this planet. What a great guy. I met him once a few years ago and I stop by every now and then to see what’s new. Sometimes you have too look closely to even realize that his art is on people. He is incredibly creative. We have some of his prints in our house. If you’re in the Quarter, it is worth while stopping by in this place. You will be very impressed!

A large gallery of bodypainted works located in the French Quarter. Craig is a true artist and paints everything on the human body from landscapes to animal prints. It’s such a unique art. You can buy pictures of his work at his gallery. Craig takes his work very seriously and travels the world attending different body painting conventions and events. He is known for bodypainting large groups on White Linen Night and Halloween night and sending them off to hypnotize all the people who are out and about for these events. If you want, you can even contact Craig about possibly being a living canvas for his gorgeous work.

Nude and not so nude photographic prints with a twist. Craig Tracey takes his art from the canvas to the skin, using the folds and contours of his subjects to create subtle landscapes and take imaginary leaps in this exotic, erotic body painting gallery. Sunsets, leopards, floral scenes– a gamut of colors and elements to surprise and titilate. Take some body art home for the right discriminating consumer.
