My friends tell me not to stop here. Never had problems, but it does seem sketchy.
The lot always seems grungy and there are always a couple of shady characters hanging around. There is bullet proof glass inside although the section right infront of the cashier has been removed. (This may or may not be a good idea.)
The store is crammed full of food and drinks, its not dirty, but since the area is known for crime and shootings and such, I always look over my shoulder, I dont feel comfortable in there.
But if you need gas on your way to Algiers or Belle Chasse, this is a convenient place to stop. It is right near the foot of the Crescent City Connection, you cant beat the location.

This a convenient place to get gas if your headed to Algiers from the east bank. Their car wash is frequently broken and I would avoid this station at night. At night, the inside area is locked. Because of its convenient location it is often crowded.
