This is the old(mainly baseball) fields of Carrollton Boosters kids’ league. I grew up playing here in NOLa with mostly great memories: you know, picking dandelions & daydreaming in left field, closing eyes & striking out during most at-bats, haulin’ booty to the concession stand after each game for free«suicide» drinks… the normal stuff a kid does! The new Carrollton fields are at Audubon Park’s «The Fly» and, I must confess, are much superior than the old ones here. Incidentally, the Carrollton league is the only concession stand in NOLa or Metairie area that sells beer & wine to those of age…
