If I could give it 10 stars I would. 5 stars for hosts Josh and Sam and 5 stars for the house and its location. Josh and Sam were WONDERFUL. They made us feel at home. They were always available to help us with dinner plans or suggestions for things to do. They would drop what they were doing and give us their undivided attention. However they always respected our privacy. When we left a week later I felt I was leaving my friends. The house itself is very fun and homey. The high ceilings and décor are perfect for a house built in 1840. You get a true sense of New Orleans living in a Shotgun house when you stay here. My suggestion is to bypass the craziness of the quarter and stay here. Its the perfect location because it walking distance to Frenchman street which is way better than Bourbon St and a short bus or taxi ride to the quarter. I cant say enough good things about our NOLA experience. Thank you Josh, Sam and Blue 60!!! I miss you.

This guest house has a great location walking distance to French Quarter at a reasonable price. The owner and manager, Josh and Sam, were very friendly and attentive and made our stay very easy. We were in the Garden Suite which was large and spacious; two rooms, nicely decorated, with a microwave and small fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was a nice place to relax in the evening but is on the small side (I had my husband and a friend with me and it seemed a bit tight for three people). We would stay here again and recommend it for those looking for something near the French Quarter but without the high price. I took one star off only because there is no dedicated parking (Parking was available nearby on the street which made us uncomfortable as we were driving a new car, but it was fine).
