Red beans and rice here is one of the better I’ve eaten in town — seriously. Made with pickled pork and sausage on the side. Only on Mondays. Otherwise, it’s an unremarkable strip mall joint. So if you work in the neighbordhood or get lost in that labyrinth of a neighborhood, stop by on Monday afternoon for a suprisingly good plate of red beans.

Cozy place in the middle of a vast wasteland of parking lots and un-​greened commercial area. The food is good and the tables are clean– this isn’t a bad place to go for lunch a few rounds of nineball. Cheaper than Fox and Hound.
