I definitely would NOT recommend this place for eyebrow threading nor tinting. Warning: eyebrow tinting is illegal in NYC and can be very dangerous. Too bad I didn’t know this before this lady Noreen did my eyebrows. Of course she didn’t even bother to do a test patch and a day later I got a horrible and painful allergic reaction. My eyebrows got incredibly red with small blisters and I turned out to be allergic to the dye they used.
So I went back to complain but never got my money back. Instead, I was bribed with three free eyebrows. I will never go back to this place and I hope no one else does or ever has to go through my experience. If I could I would give no stars for their awful service.

First I Just Got To Say Noreen Is The BEST EVER!!! There Is Nobody Else Better Than Her. The Way She Takes Her Time With The Customer, So They Come Out So Happy & Satisfied With The Service That They Get. The Way She Takes Her Time With Every Customers Eyebrows So It Comes Out Perfect Every Time. Please ASK FOR NOREEN! You Will NOT Regret It. I Never Had The Most Perfect Eyebrows Until I Had Mines Done With Noreen.
There Services Are Spectacular & So Are The Prices, Very Moderate & Affordable. I Will Always Go To ZNK Salon, They Definitely Have Made Their Changes To The Salon To Look Bigger & Better. I Always Go There For My Eyebrows, Eyebrows Tinting, Upper Lip, Pedicure & UV Gel. My Nails & Brows ALWAYS Come Out Looking So Amazing! Noreen Never Disappoints Me :)

I hardly have eyebrows, so I usually don’t have a huge problem going to different threaders around the city and Brooklyn. Hence how I ended up here.
I was running to a meeting and knew the little wolf I had howling on my forehead needed to be tamed. I look on Unilocal and see what’s close by and has enough reviews and stars and find nothing. I see this little gem and say hmmm I’ll live if it comes out bad.
I get there and there isn’t a wait. I say to the threader I hardly have eyebrows, just clean up the bottom. Her response… no problem. Not only did she listen, she gave me a nice arch shape and made me look like I have major brows! This is maybe the 2nd time I’ve been impressed with an eyebrow threader. So much so I’ll bring my wolf here to tame when needed.

I went after work to get my eyebrows threaded. Noreen helped me and she was super friendly and accomodating. I explained what I wanted: shape without thinning the eyebrows and overall clean. She listened to me and my eyebrows are beautiful again. She didn’t cut me either, a huge plus for me. I will definitely return for threading services. Ask for Noreen.

I’ve been going to Sharifa’s for 4 years now! (Which seems insane, but the work they do is just fantastic.)
**A trip after work is worth it, for Noreen who works weekdays.** The woman who’s there on weekends is very talented (threading) and sweet as well.
They are fairly fast and have some additional seating if you have someone waiting with you. Would recommend strongly.

ONLY GO FOR THREADING! They’re amazing.
Manicures? A big no. There’s a Spanish lady with a flower tattoo on her arm, she used Un-​steralized tools that she needed to rummage through her bag for, cut me with it, and then put them back. Ew! Never going back for a manicure there ever again! Plus, they don’t have much color options.

I’m a fan! I went in for threading services today and saw Noreen. I was not sure what to expect as I had only passed it everyday for the last 6 months.
My gamble paid off. Noreen was wonderful and I’m a very happy customer.
The salon itself is a full service salon conveniently located between the Garment District and Herald Square. It’s a simple salon. There’s nothing fancy but again, I was very happy with my service.
