Very cute, but small, space. There’s only seating for maybe 2 people at the bar. The menu is simple, with only a few offerings, which I actually prefer. The place felt authentic, partly because the barista was conversing with a couple in Italian for a few minutes. I wasn’t too sure what to order, and when I asked about a specialty drink I’d never heard of before, he told me it was the best thing on the menu. The drink(can’t remember what the name was, but it started with an M) was sort of a slightly chocolate-y cortado with cacao powder on top, delicious! They also have some baked goods, but I didn’t get a chance to try any. But if they are anywhere as good as the coffee, next time I’ll have to try the tiramisu for sure!

Overall — One of my favorite coffee spots near the office. You walk in and feel like you’re out of the city. It’s all about you and the coffee. Service — warm and attentive. I always have questions about the pastries and they’re always more than happy to share more details or make recommendations. I’ve always been greeted with a smile. Qualify coffee. I’ve always had an extra pep in my step leaving this place. Space — Mostly standing by the bar, which is perfect for this place. Don’t expect to sit down at a table with a friend and enjoy a latte. Very European feel, which is expected. Perfect for when you need a short break.

The espresso didn’t blow me away. It was served correctly and the atmosphere was appealing. I have had better espresso in the City and in other cities. Not a bad choice if it is convenient or you just need a fix.

Quick service, simple sharp interior, great espresso served by young yet courteous baristas. What more can you ask for? Their choice of La Cimbali as their machine tells you their way of doing things. Mi piace:)

Not much to say except that they have fast and friendly service. Most importantly they have eye opening espresso shots.

Pretty good place! The drinks I feel could have been done a little better. We redeemed the free cookie offer on Unilocal but it was only the size of a dime! The place was clean, however the barista was either not super friendly or didn’t speak much English. Overall pretty decent.

I walked past Zibetto one day and it reminded me of the cafes that you would find in Italy. So I made a mental note(and a Unilocal bookmark, of course) to try it one day. I finally got around to trying it and I’m sad to say that it was just alright. Now, I wasn’t expecting it to be on par with Italy, but I did have higher expectations for it. Like a café in Italy, there are no seats. There are standing spots, where you’re expected to drink your coffee(or espresso, latte, etc.), maybe grab a bite, and be on your way. I ordered a macchiato, which was fine. It was just slightly better than Starbucks so I don’t know if that’s saying much. To eat, I had the prosciutto panino. Aside from parts of the bread being soggy, it was pretty good. But at $ 9 a pop, it’s pretty expensive, especially since the portions are so small. So if you’re planning on making Zibetto your lunch destination, make sure you have another place to go afterwards because you definitely won’t be full. If I’m in the area, I’ll probably try some of the other drinks they have to offer. But I think that’s all I’ll stick to.

I’ve been waiting a year and a half since my summer in Rome for a good cappuccino and cornetto con crema. The day has finally arrived! Both were delicious and have satisfied my romesick cravings.

Ordered up the decent $ 2 poker di frolle to be informed LevelUp, displayed prominently facing customers on the counter, wasn’t working. No apology, and you’re especially dead to them here if you just want to give them your money for food and don’t want a coffee.

Best espresso in midtown. Period. Sfogliatelle and other Italian pastries and cookies are top shelf. Coming from New Haven, once the greatest enclave of Italians outside of Italy, I grew up more on Italian food than anything else(and I’m of eastern European heritage). Their coffee and pastries are the closest to what I’ve experienced in Italy and better than most other places in Manhattan.

Hands down the best cappuccino I’ve had since Bar da Gino in Venice Italy in 2000! The espresso and sfogliatelle pastry are also tops. Best Italian caffe in midtown.

Excellent Italian style espresso with friendly baristas. While I’ve recently been drawn to coffee shops using tart bean blends with fruity notes in their espresso, I can’t help but enjoy the toasty, burnt marshmallow, almond and caramel flavors of Zibetto’s espresso blend. I just started working in the area and look forward to frequenting this spot.

Simply great. One of the best espresso in Manhattan. Also the cappuccino(tip: ask it with a little bit of chocolate). 100% Italian, coffee from Italy, caniolli Italian made, Italian coffee makers. The service was great. The place is small, more for being standing up. Believe is a must, I have to try the ine y 6th ave. fantastic.

Nope. Just no. I recently came back from France and in post post-European slump, a chic little expresso seemed right. The cappuccino was weak and the croissant was dry and tough. Nice service but it doesn’t compare :(
