First time there today. I had the rice noodles with chicken, garlic, onions, cilantro, added some veggies and the Bali sauce. Awful. Tasteless and expensive. Not at all impressed, and no way I’m going back. Ended up being over $ 15 with the add-ons, and even with those added, it could not make it taste good.

Been regularly to a couple of their locations. Great tasting noodles served fast but can easily get ridiculously expensive for just Chinese noodles! And now it comes in an even smaller container so less food than before, yay! But its definitely good.

This is my favorite fast food take out. Great for lunch time or just a quick bite to eat. I prefer the Egg Noodles with shrimp or chicken with Tokoyo sauce, must get pepper to put on it. Great service n workers are very friendly.

First i came here i was greeted by the employees and it’s very welcoming. The place is not that big but it’s very clean. You can tell that they serve you fresh and good food. They cook the food in front of you the way you want it. You can imagine a lot of ways on how you mix and match and there’s good choices of sauces to put. The price is reasonable and it really caters the costumer who are always on the go, and no time to cook. I wish they’ll open one here in queens.

This is a concept I am accustomed to in the Philippines(Rice in a Box, anyone?) and I really like that they have something similar to it here, but with more variety and flavor. This is quick and practical. You can eat on the go, literally Wok to Walk. I shall be back soon!

This is a late night food place for people on the run and will all kinds of flavors. Wheat noodles are available and are delicious! They have veggie, chicken, seafood options– u choose sauce to your liking– super spicy, not so spicy, sweetish– and u choose fried garlic, onions, fresh cilantro, peanuts to go on the top of the art… Addictive stuff. Super reasonable– One lasts 2 meals/sharable portion and around 8 – 10 bucks. i am not too fond of noodles, but THIS place rocks! Must top your noodles with fresh chopped green chilliesand house hot sauce– YUMMY!

Three stars on Unilocal means«A-OK» and that’s exactly what this place is. In other words Wok to Walk is «Neither Bad Nor Good». If you asked me to «Agree or Disagree: Wok to Walk serves delicious food.» I would answer«Neither Agree Nor Disagree.» It really does run the middle ground of casual fast food places catering to the masses. The key here is you build your own meal so if you don’t like it, you only have yourself to blame. For noodles, a protein, and veggies it can feel a little pricey, but again you are paying for convenience and speed and in New York City that makes all the difference. People will pay for just about anything if they can shovel it down in between meetings or on a late train home after a 12+ hour day. Service was very speedy and given with a smile. That’s all important for a place with«Walk» in its name. I ordered egg noodles with chicken, bamboo shoots, peanuts, and the Saigon sauce(garlic and black pepper). Overall, it was a little dry, I would have appreciated more sauce, so it was very very mild. However, they were generous with the add-ons, which is great because you pay an arm and a leg for them, so there was a bit of a trade off there. My grumbling stomach was happy to find this place after a really long work day. At that point my food was quick and filling and thus tasted like a five star meal, so this will likely become one of my go to weekday spots during my busy work seasons.

It’s very meh. Pricey for a simple meal. You choose a base of various noodles, protein or vegetable add ons, and a free sauce plus additional charge if you want toppings. I got the rice noodles with tofu with the curry coconut sauce. It could be better. Kinda pricey for $ 8.

Definitely a must try! The containers are easy to eat out of and you can definitely eat it on the go. hence the name«walk». Coconut curry sauce with noodles had great flavor! They said it was mild in spice, but it’s really Medium spiced. They have some tables in the back and a long standing area watching the chef cook through the clear glass.

Decided to try this place as I was intrigued by the selections… Watched the chefs through the clear enclosures… quickly, methodically, stir-frying and slipping the finished product into a paper container. Cool Beans! :) I ordered an asian egg noodle; with beef, broccoli and pineapples; topped with fried onions… knowing egg and other veggies are added too… I took it out of the store, and dug in 5 minutes later… I found the initial flavors and textures very tasty and alternately, soft, crunchy and just… delicious… I decided to finish half the order when I got home. I reheated and tucked in… Then, I bit down on a hard piece of bone and gristle… Ugh and OOWWW!!! I noticed a slight… «off» taste to some of the meat… Boooo! I may give this place another taste… However… I’ll likely order without meat next time… Or go to Chinatown for the *real thing*!! ;)

I was walking around looking for a quick place to eat in union square before a movie. Originally headed towards McDonald’s but saw this along the way and decided to give it a try. It was good — and surprisingly filling. This is a create your own Chinese takeout joint. Food is prepared in the stereotypical Chinese takeout containers. You get to create your own takeout. I got the whole wheat noodles with chicken, bok choy, bamboo, onions and topped it off with the Tokyo teriyaki sauce. This was a good combination so would definitely recommend it. You can try adding other toppings to it too. They have a bunch of choices. To those authentic food fans — this is not the place, food is pretty Americanized, but nonetheless tasty. Not somewhere I would come to often, but on occasion I can see.

This place is good, but it is not great. Definitely not something that I crave. There are better places. However, if you are low on money, this place is not too bad.

Thoroughly enjoyed this spot. It’s a bit small(especially the area in which you order), and the waiting line is a bit cramped, but it’s very worth it. Their options is priced quite well and are DELICIOUS. I got noodles with a couple of vegetables and toppings thrown in, with two sauces that I don’t remember. What I remember most about being here isn’t what I ordered, but the fact that I really, really enjoyed my meal. Seating is limited though, so perhaps grab your food to go and find a park bench somewhere on which to devour it. Note: If you can’t eat meat, you might assume that the oyster sauce is the only one you can’t get. You are probably wrong. Ask which sauces are meatless. The menu doesn’t do a great job of noting sauces that contain things like fish sauce or anything like that.

Had I known my experience would have been so poor I would have woked right out, saved my $ 10 and gone to my local Chinese takeout spot. This is food court quality at best, but perhaps not even because I think Panda Express is better. There were a few main issues: — The entire dish had a burnt/ashy taste likely from poorly cleaned woks — The sauce was sparse and didn’t have much flavor — The chicken is pre-cooked then just tossed in sauce so(1) it becomes overcooked and(2) there isn’t much flavor because of the fact you can tell its not marinated(nothing seeped into it, tastes like salad bar precooked chicken)

So, I’m from Seattle, visiting NYC. My friend took me to a play at Union Square Theatre, and this gem is right around the corner. It reminds me a bit of the Mongolian Grills we have at home, but instead of me picking out my own stuff, I told them what I wanted. It worked out very well. I ordered chicken with cashews and peanut sauce. The flavor of the peanut sauce, the texture of the chicken and the roasted cashews were perfect. I love that they give it to you in a little orange take out container. This was so delicious, and the portion was large. The service was super fast and the food was superb. I liked the casual atmosphere of the restaurant and the fact that we could linger, enjoy our food and talk. Union Square is so beautiful that it’s just the right place to go for casual, quick and yummy dining. Just one question — when are you coming to Seattle?

So here’s a franchise in M’urica! Since going to the franchise in Amsterdam, I was fairly impressed and thought I’d check out the one in NYC. For those who don’t know, this is pretty much a stir-fry South East Asian version of Chipotle. You can watch the cooks work with the wok to make your food and the ingredients are fresh. The rice noodle chicken and broccoli are my preferred choices and the Hot Asia sauce, almost like eating a Pad Thai. I expected more flavors from the Hot Asia sauce because it was just spicy, no soy or any additional flavors. For the $ 10+ that I paid for, the portions were fair for the average consumer but I was just sad that I remember eating more while I was at Amsterdam. All in all, this place is a perfect food joint to check out if you don’t want to eat a super fast food place like disgusting Panda Express or sit down at a restaurant in Chinatown.
