My experience with them was seriously Crappy McCrappington. I brought in a phone with a broken screen for them to fix. They told me to come back on Friday to pick up the job, so I got there at 1 pm on Friday, at which point I was told to come back at 6 pm. At 6pm I went back and the guy told me to come back on Monday. WTF. Then I went in on Monday to pick up the phone and I finally got it, great, the screen is nice, no problem… except that now my phone gets basically no reception. When I broke the screen, I couldn’t see anything but I still got reception and I could still make calls… now, I can see perfectly that I have zero bars of reception. In New York City, outside on the street — no reception! When I called to complain, the owner told me to call my service provider and ask for a replacement under warranty, and not mention the fact that I had them repair the phone. So basically instead of apologizing and offering to fix the problem, or offering a refund, or offering another repair at no charge, or ANYTHING, he basically told me it wasn’t his problem and to deal with the problem myself, by lying to my service provider. Also, he had implied to me that getting a repair from them WOULDN’T void the warranty as the repair shop was somehow officially liscenced or something. Clearly I should have sent the phone to the manufacturer for support, but I figured I would save money(the manufacturer wanted $ 100 plus shipping for the repair; WW did it for $ 60). At the end of the day, this place was the exact opposite of helpful, and I wish I’d never heard of them. If I could give negative twenty stars, I would.

I was looking everywhere in Manhattan for a T-Mobile SDA, but very few stores had them. Jennifer had one. She had one left, but it wasn’t unlocked, and I didn’t have T-Mobile service. I really needed it fast because my previous phone had died, and I didn’t have a replacement. Jennifer went to bat for me, looking for places that would unlock the phone. She even took a step of faith and paid out of pocket to unlock the phone before I purchased it. Long story short, she was extremely helpful with my situation, and now I won’t go anywhere else for cellphone needs. I just wish I could switch to T-Mobile already…
