I have visited this shop for both haircuts, and braids. I received the best haircuts from Willis who is both skilled, professional, and gives you exactly the cut you want. I would always book my appointment ahead of time, and never had to wait long to be seated. On another occasion i booked an appointment to get my hair braided by Guin Gui. She did an amazing job giving me beautiful detailed fish braids. If your looking for braid skills shes the one to go to. Def recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great haircut or style!

Hello! I came here after hearing about Willis and his exceptional skills through another friend. I scheduled an appointment and showed up at the shop a few minutes early. I was greeted by Willis and his other barbers. The shop is easy to find and in a great location. Cool, modern décor inside and a great atmosphere.
Now for he haircut, Willis truly knows what he is doing. As an African American male in NYC, I can say that it isn’t easy to find a barber you can trust but I can honestly say that if you live in NYC and need a barber, there is no one else that should be cutting your hair but Willis! This man does things right. I got a fade and it was one perfectly. Edge up was on point and he even used a hot towel and a straight edge in the end to clean things up.
Throughout the cut, Willis and I had a great conversation. He is a well rounded individual and I truly look forward to coming back to him as a regular. Come to this man for your hair needs!

Top of the line. Willis is a true craftsman and you definitely want to check out his shop. Not only do you get a top-​of-​the-​line cut, but you’re in a shop with great personality and one of the cleanest in New York. Definitely ask for Willis (the owner), but all the barbers he brings in are top of the line as well.

Great shop with personality. You could tell this is something they take seriously. In NYC barbershops are a dime a dozen so you really have to look for one where you have the right atmosphere. Willis takes his craft very seriously and you see that in the caliber of barbers he has there working. You walk in a customer and after a few visits you feel like you’re in there with friends. Very diverse in it’s clientele and on any given day you might just see a familiar face from TV in the shop. Haircuts are A1.
I would book a appointment of possible but walk ins are fine too.

Beautiful upscale and clean shop with the most extremely talented barbers !! Wow it’s so hard to chose who to cut you they’re all so great but Willis is definitely my favorite and just the best barber ever !!! Must try! I gladly give these guys 5 stars and two thumbs up !

Heard about this place by walking by the shop. Had never been there before but it looked like they could cut the style I like. Called a day ahead and made an appt. with Vinny for 2p. Showed up to the barber shop on time and waited for him to show up. At 2:20 I asked one of the other barbers (who was sitting there eating food and not cutting anyone’s hair) where Vinny was as he hadn’t even showed yet. Guy said he would call him to ask where he was. After calling him barber said «Vinny totally spaced he had an appointment at 2:00 today but he could be here at 3:30 if you want.» No thanks. Also a girl left the shop crying because of the haircut she got from one of the other barbers. Red flags.

Well Connected is awesome! The owner, Willis, is really sweet, and he worked with me to give me the cut that I wanted. As a woman, I never felt uncomfortable in a barber shop full of dudes, and Willis is on point with not just cuts, but also designs.

They are filled with talented barbers that specialize in satisfying the customers … If your lookin for a place to get a good laugh and a hot towel shave that comes with the haircut this is the place to go … Not to worry as they slogan goes «They fix other barbers haircuts»

Terrible service. I sat there for 5 minutes before one barber rudely asked «wanna haircut?» I said I wanted a design, so the design guy gave me his book of photots. I sat for another 10 minutes then he decided he was «booked» the rest of the day. Perhaps if I repeated the N-​word and cursed like the barbers and their friends hanging out they would have cut my hair.
