I visited the third avenue store to inquire about a sale item. My husband is a huge fan of vv and we shop in both the retail stores and outlet. Brian helped me and was fabulous. Not only did he locate the item I was looking for, but he also found several other items that I assumed were sold out. He was careful to explain that the items would be coming from different locations and would arrive separately. Everything arrived in two days, and they waived shipping. I also visited with my 11 year old niece during the height of the holiday season… the sales associate gave her her full attention, and treated her like a young adult. Five stars!

After reading some of the low reviews of this location, I was a bit skeptical of visiting this place. I was discouraged but yet intrigued to go see what they were talking about. I had a return to make, so I needed to go. I was greeted by an associate from the register. That was nice. I looked around to see what they had in their store; the men’s section had the usual Shep Shirts, polos, khakis, pullovers. All was nice and organized. I proceeded to make the return, the gentleman was nice and began with the return. While he did that, I noticed that he didn’t have a name tag(this was to make sure I knew his name if any problems were to occur with this associate). He wanted to give me store credit for one of the items, he explained that since it was an online order and I didn’t have the receipt, he could only offer store credit. My response: No buddy, you can look up my online account and transaction using my email and order number. After that, he did in fact find the item and returned all items back onto my card. A good associate would know all possible different options a customer has for a return without a receipt(especially if I told him I purchased it online and the 60 day return policy has not expired). Maybe he was new! But all in all, it was rather a nice experience, especially for a return.

Once upon a time, from far away we stumbled into the greatest clothing company known as Vineyard Vines until our stumble turned into a vicious fall. The staff was mean, rude and discriminating at this location(1151 Third avenue. NY, NY10065). They claim everyone in the store is a manager but they didn’t behave like one. Since their service is constant hate towards the customers doesn’t that tarnish the Company’s reputation? Save yourself and DONOTGOINTOTHISSTORE! If you have been treated badly by the staff, make sure to let the OWNERS(CFO) know about it! It’s time to clean up this store and bring in a true proud Vineyard Vine Employees to save this location ASAP!

I love Vineyard Vine compared to other stores in the United States staff at the time was a little difficult. The store has a very cozy feel and seems like they carry newer or more merchandise. No whale hats at this location at the time. The store’s location is great and easy to find. Overall a good experience. Last Visited Store: May 9, 2014& Dec 28, 2014
