I’ve walked into«The Belly of the Beast» with this therapist competently at my side. Translation: I’ve learned to accept that my sibling group includes«loved ones» with a range of personality and character disorders. I’ve also learned that(as a FORMER Hero Child in this hot mess) I can change the way I relate to these individuals, setting aside the family roles deeply scripted over the course of decades. I’ve learned that I can choose how to relate to my brothers and sisters in a self-respecting, self-protecting new way — as well as what that new way of relating can look like in the day-to-day of life. Please note: if you suspect, or even KNOW(but are struggling to admit and confront reality) that one of your siblings is in fact a Sociopath(aka Psychopath), then you might especially benefit from the help of Veronica Ryan-Silverberg. She has helped me to be far more realistic and effective in my assessment of, and interactions with, my extremely«challenging» sibling group.
