If you dig deep into the environment you will find the UES has the same demographics as any other section of NYC, NY State, and the rest of USA. UES is a melting pot of people and businesses with a wide range of religious, ethnic, and socio-​economic demographics.

That depressing moment when you realize that you can’t afford the lifestyle you want to live… sighhh

upper east side is a very dominantly residential area… known both for very high end living along Central Park… mainly from 5^th Avenue to Madison Avenue… and from Madison Avenue to the East River it has mainly been a residential area… It’s a very quiet/​fun area… and considered fairly family friendly! has allot to do with social classes… or at least the perception of them… and has the reputation of «old money“and generations of wealth… Apartments are often beautiful… large and extremely expensive with servants and paid help… Restaurants and stores cater to clients accustomed to high quality goods and lavish taste! All is fair in love… war… and Manhattan real estate!
