Honestly, I’m a little surprised by the good reviews. Like every Unik I’ve been to, this place was definitely clean and comfortable. However, my service was a completely different story.
I’ve been going to Unik for over 4 years, and other spas/​waxing places for a few years before that for Brazilian waxes and this is the first time that i was just horrified by my experience. It’s like she didn’t know what she was doing. Not to get to graphic, but a single strip should never be pulled of half way, take a second, then completed. It was torture… Never, ever again.
Murray Hill location, I don’t care that I’ve moved. I’m coming back!

This was the second Uni K location that I have been to after a friend referred me here and must say that they surpassed the service from the previous location. Renuka is my absolute go-​to! I have not felt that way about any previous waxer, so you can just imagine how great she is! No wax will ever be painless but after years of waxing with various people you can tell when someone knows the proper techniques that help to relieve the pain. She even uses ice packets to seal the pores after the wax.
In a nutshell:
1. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating to your needs.
2. The environment is very clean.
3. They make it easy to book your appointments in advance on their website. An added incentive is that offer rewards points by booking this way. That’s what I call a win win!

Very clean facility, friendly staff, professional attitudes. My waxer Sajana did a quick and thorough job. She finished my full Brazilian in 20 minutes exactly. I had an appointment but they took me in early anyway. This is a less painful way of waxing and yields less irritation. I prefer Uni K over other waxing chains and this will now be my home location.

Never had hard wax before. It seriously is the least painful time I’ve ever had my shoulders waxed. Very clean rooms, very sweet technician, moderately priced. I’ll be back.

I love this place! I booked an appointment for my first brazilian and was pretty nervous. However, Renuka made the procedure virtually painless! She was super imformative, explaining to me the benefits of waxing and what she was doing the entire time. She made me feel very comfortable and welcome from start to end. I will be going to her as long as she is there. Great service!

I love Uni k wax a lot… Super Duper Happy with this new location that has opened… Excellent quality wax with no irritation… I usually have Dipa to do my wax… She is just amazing and very quick. The way She makes me comfortable is totally painless and Perfect!!!
The Whole Staff is pretty organized and co-​operative too… I observed positive energy in the place… it’s super clean and pleasant place. This is my regular favorite spot to get waxing done… Really appreciate their wonderful team!!!
I’ll highly recommend this place to everyone… Awesome!!!
