Unbelievable Cuts

Good luck scheduling a follow-​up with this barber. He cancels, or just takes off whenever. His inconsistent schedule and last minute cancellation reduce the value of his service. We ultimately found a superior barber who works a set schedule.

I read the reviews of this place, and since they mostly looked good and the cut I wanted was simple, I thought I would give the place a try. I called and asked if someone could do a women’s cut for me today, and Andrew said he could. I am sorry to call someone out personally, but he did an absolutely TERRIBLE job. He left uneven bits; the back looked choppy, and frankly the whole thing makes me feel like a messed-​up looking ten year old boy. I just have a pixie cut that needed the back neatened up slightly — it should have been completely simple to do. Like the other not so good review on this site, I feel like I should have gotten up from the chair when I started feeling nervous, but what I wanted was so easy that I thought there was no real way he could mess it up. I feel like he simply didn’t know how to handle my hair, and I am extremely upset and even angry that rather than admit that, he has made me look awful. I will absolutely NEVER return here.

Uhhhh … I’m new to this whole haircut thing. And I actually feel bad writing this because I see all the other glowing reviews. My hair was getting long and I really wanted to keep it cleaned up and looking nice. I’ve been asking friends for recs but all their barbers have been their barbers for years and they live in the Bronx or (gasp) Jersey. Convenience is important and I should have taken the cue from the girl putting in weave for a client.
Me: I just need a hair trim and shape up.
Her: The person is not here right now who usually … (Looks at Morgada) You wanna do it?
Morgada: What did you need again?
It seemed like it was going ok and she had some challenges setting up. I should’ve got up from the chair like my friends told me they often do without remorse but I stayed. And I posted a picture of how it all turned out. It’s one of those things you can’t really do anything about but wait it out until your hair is trimming length. It’s my own fault. I’m sure it could’ve been fine here with someone with more experience or a clear line of sight. I don’t know.
I also feel bad because I tipped 20% and didn’t take the time to give her feedback. Maybe like me it was her first time doing this. I didn’t know what to look for until I got home and held my phone up to the back of my head to inspect in the bathroom mirror and saw that it was obviously just poor shaping.
If you do try out the unbelievable stylists here just don’t get what I had.

This barber is fantastic. It is hard to find a barber that does not push your child’s hair line back. I have five sons. The owner Devon is great with young kids. He is patience and family orientate. Remarkable hair cuts is my definition for Unbelievable cuts!
