Another great spot for good food gone. I will miss the artwork and the memorabilia that were on display there.

CLOSED — went by there on Tuesday and it is gone. I didn’t see any note about it. It was always my favorite Two Boots. Their pizza tasted better to me than the others.

Can you say VEGANCHEESE? and vegan cheese means VEGANPIZZA! from my understanding, they can use vegan daiya cheese on any pie. Their v for vegan slice is heaven if you like pesto and artichoke, otherwise it is very oily. Thin crust pizza, vegan cheese, fresh toppings… I’m a fan!

Love this place, but are they CLOSED?! The other day there was a sign that said«closed while we open a store in Brooklyn» but didn’t say when they’d be open again. And then today, there’s «Space for Lease» sign in the window! WHY?

Nice little variety. Wanted to come here for years and just when I was going to cheaply purchase Wendy’s I saw a man with crispy pizza and it hit me… Two Boots! Purchased the Animal and a plain slice. The Animal(spinach artichoke dip pie) was kind of overwhelming for me. I think it was the random globs of what tasted like cream cheese though it wasn’t listed in the ingredients. It was tasty though. Plain slice is the bomb! A little spice to it. I like! Very crunchy crust. I LOVE that about pizza. Definitely coming back to try the Larry Tate pizza and definitely a po’ boy.

We ordered via Seamless for dinner last night. It’s nearby and the food arrived quickly and hot. The pizza was pretty good. My husband had the crawfish pizza with mild sauce on regular crust. I got the Tony Clifton pizza(shitake, red pepper pesto, Vidalia onions and Mozz) with a whole wheat crust. I loved the crust and would recommend it over the regular crust, it had awesome crunch. Overall, both pizzas were good, but nothing Earth shattering. Definitely not your standard cheese-drenched pizza, so if that’s what you’re craving I might look elsewhere. The crawfish was a bold choice by my husband. I had a slice as well but I just have issues combining seafood and pizza. I added red pepper flakes for more of a kick, but he also chose the mild option so maybe go bold or go home. Overall it was good. I liked the crispy crust but the toppings weren’t mind-blowing. We each ordered a small and easily could have shared one.

Had the worst experience ever here! So they make gluten-free pizza that is cross contaminated with wheat — so what’s the point! I had a pizza here and got the celiac cooties the next day. They should have a sign or something that says the pizza is cross contaminated!!! Celiacs beware.

The Pizza is pricey… $ 4.50 a slice, but omg it’s so good. I went in, the person working the register talked to me about what kind of pizza I liked and suggested the Cajun pizza. One had just come out of the oven so she cut me a slice, offered me a cup of water and told me to find her when I was done eating. That was one of the best slices of pizza I have ever had… In Jersey, in NY, in Italy, and even at Italian expat owned Italian restaurants in China. I love this place. 4 stars because I think it is too expensive, but otherwise amazing.

Small spot with limited seating. So don’t plan on bringing more than 3 people and expecting to snag a seat. We ordered the Cleopatra Jones on it was delish! I some times get turned off by pizza shops because they can take forever to serve you, but our pizza was out of the oven and cooked to perfection in a matter of minutes. I also went on a Wednesday night at 10 pm – so that may have something to do with it as well. I love the pizza selections and cute names to go along with them. A+ in my book.

The pizza is a little pricey — but it’s quick and very tasty. I grabbed a slice of cheese and a slice of buffalo chicken for lunch one day. Just make sure you tell them to heat up both slices. My cheese was not hot because he forgot to heat it — but it was still really good!

Two booooottsss!!! I love you!!! There are a ton of pizza places in NY but TB is still one of my favorites. I love the cornmeal crust so much. It just makes it so special and is a standout from others. My absolute favorite is the white pizza. It’s so thin and good. Mmmmmmmm. I’ve tried their regular, but I don’t think the red sauce and crust go so well together, but that’s just me. I’m not a big soda drinker, but when I indulge I do so gladly here because they serve Pepsi!!! Lately I’ve been getting the eggplant sliders, which are shards of fried eggplant wedged in between a very large garlic knot. Um. Yeah, it’s good. It’s topped with the semi sweet red sauce and cheese and let me tell you a meal can be made. This location is cute and has enough seating for people. I love the large communal table, albeit if it s a little wobbly.

How am I not at this place every week? $ 4 slices of hot, fresh, delicious vegan pizza? I went with the V is for Vegan since it has non-dairy cheese and resembles«real» pizza. I’ve had the Earth Mother in the past and someone must be ordering it because they serve it at all the Two Boots locations but that slice just looks like cooked salad on bread to me. My cheesy vegan slice was toasted nice and hot, which I appreciated since I’ve seen a lot of pizzerias just throw the slice in long enough to get it warm. The service was super friendly, and there is a good amount of seating available.

Two Boots to Go-Go is in the right place at the right time; I frequently find myself going by here at midday, and a slice is usually the perfect thing to stave off the hunger pangs. The only slice I care about is the«V for Vegan,» which IMHO is great; they’ve also got the Earth Mother for vegans, and I’ve gotten that a lot in the past. I really like the Two Boots on Avenue A better, but I’m really glad to have this one here; most people don’t realize how important it is that a pizzeria offer vegan – and gluten-free – pizza, and most pizzerias don’t.

I am not really a pizza kinda gal but this pizza joint blew my mind. Best pizza I’ve had in New York… Something about that crust. Eggplant parmesan sliders are very tasty at $ 2 a piece. Each slice of pizza is $ 4, except for the Sicilian which is $ 3. This location is pizza only, I heard the park slope location in brooklyn also serve a full blown menu of Cajun fusion foods.

We had the newman & the bird. Both were okay. You could tell it was left over pizza, not freshly made. I like the concept, but it didn’t work too well. The guy behind the counter seemed a little dead inside & there was no heat on. No bathrooms for those interested. Décor needs updating as well.

Met a very interesting man in front of the store and bought a meal for him here. I had a slice myself to eat and talk with him. The pizza was thin crust as most NY pizza is and was really crunchy but had solid toppings. They had some unique topping choices like the Pink! The pizza was solid and tasty but didn’t blow my socks off. I think the company I had made it taste better(4 star worthy). To be honest though it was pretty expensive for the quality and taste.

Got lunch catered from this pizza joint and I had a slice of the Earth Mother vegetarian pizza, which was a whole wheat base with every single vegetable imaginable on top of it. I’m actually not 100% sure what was on it, but it was a mixture of different colored peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, and greens. It was actually such a beauty to behold with all its vibrant colors that it was a shame it had to go inside my stomach. The slice was pretty good and made me feel very healthy, but I thought it was somewhat on the bland side. I think it may have to do with 1) the pizza being whole wheat and tasting a bit dry, and 2) it only having tomato sauce and no cheese. Without the cheese, there was nothing that bound the pizza and the toppings together. I think the Earth Mother slice would be so much more appetizing if it had cheese(although that would offset the healthiness that the chefs are going for…). I guess I should’ve had another slice of a different type of pizza(they all looked really good!) but everything else ran out so quickly!

My bayou beast was pretty tasty and conceptually creative but it didn’t come out of it’s return to the oven in quite the best shape which is a shame. I think two boots would be better totally fresh. I also like the various princess bride/seinfeld things going on.

Maybe things are looking up since some of the Unilocal reviews on here but we just ordered 3 small pies, 2 salads and assorted drinks and the food is hot, tasty and possibly higher-than-average quality from my previous Two Boots experiences. A small pizza could easily feed one hungry person or two semi-hungry people and the salads are also sizable. Delivery was really easy and fast!
