A stone’s throw from the WTCPATH Station, this quiet oasis is certainly worth a quick stop. Opened in 1697(although the oldest tombstone dates to 1681), this shady grove is the final resting place for many notable figures in American history. Alexander Hamilton, Robert Fulton and numerous signers of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are each buried here. After this location was filled, a second cemetery was opened in Harlem. So much to see in such a small and well-kept space!
