Great time, visited the large dog area with my english bulldog! He had an awesome time, each dog in the park was friendly. The are is big and its in a nice location so after the park date you can also walk by the hudson river and enjoy the view of the city. Deff will be back soon!

All dog runs receive 5 stars in my book — but Washington square park dog run is where my heart is!

This is further from us than WSP dog run or the Leroy St one but its so much better. It’s certainly much cleaner than the leroy st one which smells of pee and had much sadder kiddie pools and a hose. This ones separated big and small dog areas and in the summer mine love to run through the fountains. The drinking fountain is much more sanitary too — it has a button to press for water and drains out. There’s benches for humans as well.

Great urban dog run in Tribeca. Things it has going for it: — Separate large and small dog runs — Dedicated dog drinking fountain in both runs — Adequate seating — Rocks for dogs to play on — Great fencing and entry areas — Sprinkler area in both runs for dogs to play in Things it has going against it: — Limited shade — No poop bags provided — Gets windy — Gate latches are the best design — No bathrooms near run(at Pier 25) This is a great urban dog run. A model for future urban dog runs. Only things holding this dog run back from being a 5 star dog run in my opinion is that there are no poop bags, needs some more shade and the latches on the gates are more designed to get in, not out of the runs. All these are easy fixes. ** Please note that this run is closed everyday for cleaning between 10am and 11am & also between 8:30pm and 9:30pm ** Dog runs/parks I have been to so far:
