My friend had a baby and I wanted to get something cute and not something you find in a department stores. I wanted something different. I end up going to this store and to my surprise I found the most adorable things. The staff was so helpful and nice. This is a great place if you need gifts for a child’s birthday. I had a great experience at this store. I would definitely go back. If you’re looking for a store that’s hassle free and want to get a gift this is the place to go.

This is my go-to place in Tribeca for buying infant clothing and accessories to bring to kids’ birthday parties – for which I seem to get a steady stream of invitations. Certainly beats Babesta and Shoofly, not that I am an expert on the topic.
Torly’s selection seems quite diverse, the service is superb, the location is perfect (a minute’s walk from home) and the prices are reasonable, unless you choose to welcome disappointment by comparing the prices at Torly and Amazon.
Trust a Tribeca mom to come up with this cool place, and design and stock it to appeal to the neighborhood. I will be sure to return, unless my friends stop hosting kiddie parties, or stop inviting me.

I was looking for a gift for newborn and strolled in here. Customer service was great! She was super friendly lady from North Carolina, thanks for all your help! She helped me pick out a cute little doggy toy. Store has a variety of things, not toys r us but great for the neighborhood.

I happened upon this store while strolling through the hood. It seemed festive inside for the most part but honestly was off putting to see little imagination with the three oversized photos of Caucasian children posing in clothes.
*UPDATE: I was informed that the portraits are of the owner’s children over the past 10 years — a nice touch to the store indeed.
But hey it is TriBeCa, can’t exactly expect the rainbow coalition photos though as a person of color, it’s a turn off.
The gal working there was quite helpful. She gave me a bit of history about children’s designers and companies Torly carries.
I cannot justify buying a child shirt for $ 32…that’s insane, in my world.
I did find a couple cute things for my son. It will be interesting to see how long the store will last, but again, it is TriBeCa.
