Great people and service. They accept packages for us when we’re not home, and they have always made sure that I am satisfied with with whatever I drop off for them to clean or alter.

Transacted 3 Garments: Alpaca Overcoat Acrylic/Polyester Coat w/Wool liner that reeked of tobacco Wool/Nylon Jacket Told me to return a few days later. Picked-up 3 clothe-hanged/plastic-covered garments. $ 41 later– Inspected, Assessed 4⁄5. 5 out of 5 if financially, it were student-friendly and a quicker return date.

Before I start my review, I just want to caveat that I almost never write reviews unless the place has greatly exceeded my expectations, or the experience is so atrocious that I feel a civic duty to warn all others from making the same mistake. Unfortunately, this time, it is the latter. I had been staying at my friends place(ahem, couch) for a month and a half while I was in between apartments, and I left my dry cleaning at this place since it was the closest around. The very last time I dropped off my shirts for dry cleaning, I received them with 2 of my shirts ripped — one at the forearm and one at the wrist right where the forearm meets the cuff.(FYI — these were Charles Tyrwhitt shirts; not high end but not necessarily cheap off the rack, either) Now mind you — I know shirts rip after wear and tear but these rips were gigantic, and so systematically torn that they were ripped and straight that these were done by a machine. Additionally, the rips were at awkward parts of the shirt; most shirts rip at the elbows — these were at the wrist and forearm. To top it off, they left a notice on my shirt that stated: «repairs recommended», instead of taking ownership over the wear and tear. From the owner’s perspective, it’s easy to refuse ownership and make this suggestion. After all, this is NYC and one of the most densely populated neighborhoods — what is one unsatisfied customer? Well I say a similar thing to you my friends — there are tens(if not, hundreds) of laundry and dry cleaning places in the area. Once you find one that seems like they won’t mess up, I highly suggest you stick with it. This place is not it. Look somewhere else and do not make the same mistake I did.

This place is great for laundry and dry cleaning. The owners are extremely friendly, and the clothes come back very clean and smelling nicely. The prices are very reasonable, too. Would highly recommend TLKK to others!

My boyfriend and I LOVETLKK Cleaner! We bring over a heavy load of laundry once a week(sometimes twice a week!) and they handle our laundry quickly, with care, and with a smile :) We seriously love TLKK Cleaner– they really look out for us and even accept our packages from UPS or FedEx if we’re not home. They’re the best!
