Tina Hair Salon

I just moved to the neighborhood and came across Tina’s salon! Tina was so accommodating and my hair looked fabulous after she blew it dry. She did my hair wonders. Whether I want it perfectly straight, small waves or curls for evening events she knows exactly what to do and makes it last. It took one simple blow out to make me a regular. I even took a leap and got my eyebrows threaded and I can honestly say my eyebrows finally have a shape. No matter what budget you are on, Tina’s Salon is the place to go. Now, I go on a weekly basis and walk out a new woman every time. She does great coloring and hair cuts too! It is hard to find a salon like this now a days, as Tina’s is a place where you can get a great blow out or styling for an extremely affordable price. $ 40 for a blow out — there are no salons in the area that are as affordable as that; and $ 9 for eyebrow threading even more amazing. The salons in the area have nothing on Tina, as you get more than what you pay for each and every time. Tina’s Salon also offers waxing and manicure at a great affordable price. What started as just a salon to me, has become a second family. I go there for every occasion or just for a wash and blow. Tina and her staff take care of you and do not let you walk out an unsatisfied customer. I highly recommend Tina’s Hair Salon over any salon you may come across in NYC. Even if you are just visiting New York City, make it a point to visit Tina’s hair salon and I guarantee you will walk out an extremely satisfied customer.

I came here because Wave 55 is closed on Mondays, and I needed my hair styled for an event. I just walked in without an appointment, and they took me right away. Tina did a wonderful job on my hair. When she first finished I was worried because I looked a lot like Jon Benet, but within 15 minutes of leaving the salon, my hair fell beautifully. Tina seemed to think that she wouldn’t be able to give me the bouncy curls I wanted because my hair is thin and slippery. I encouraged her to give it the old college try since this wasn’t my first blow out and I was sure that it was possible. She gave be beautiful, bouncy curls and didn’t even use the curling iron. The women in the salon were complimenting and flattering me the entire time I was there, so that was an added plus. It’s not exactly cheap, she charged me $ 40, but she did do a wonderful job.
