I absolutely love the Sage House. The building is a landmark building, about 100 years old, right next to the Gramercy Park Hotel, so every once in a while you catch a glimpse of a celebrity. There’s often filming going on nearby as well. There’s a fair amount of youngish professionals living here, as well as retirees. The building is a co-op, with lenient rules to rent(unlimited renting after one year living in the building). When you walk out, you can look south toward the famous Gramercy Park, or north to an outstanding view of the Chrysler Building. It’s a convenient location, close to grocery, pharmacies, restaurants, and bars. There’s a 24-hour doorman on duty & live-in super. One of my favorite things is how quiet it is! It’s wonderful to have a peaceful sanctuary away from the chaos of the city. The staff is phenomenal, and it’s pet-friendly(there’s a $ 500 fee for each animal).
