Beautiful residences, up-​to-​date amenities including a gym, billiards room and TV lounge. Most stress-​free way to live in the LES.

Gist: You are better off going to Avalon Bowery across the street, by the amount they increased our rent it’s better to move across the street and get a newer building with newer appliances. It’s unfortunate that they decided to increase our rent by such a large amount.
They recently renovated the lobby, gym, and common areas which is nice, but I don’t like the idea of me paying a 10% increase in rent for this and that I’m subsidizing the other 20% of low-​income tenants since this is an 80⁄20 building.
Pros:
–Great location.
–Great lobby attendants, very friendly, talkative and helpful.
–Wholefoods downstairs.
Cons:
–Gets pretty loud during Friday/​Saturday.
–People leaving their doors open when they cook, the entire hallway smells.
–People smoking marijuana and the smell in the hallway
–They increase the rent by a ridiculous amount.
–There were tons of bad reviews that are no longer listed here.
–Main entry is on Chrystie and there is no entry on Bowery.
