I would not have paid for this. Thankfully I got free tickets to the show from Unilocal — woohoo! So I came with one of my friends, hoping to see an Off-Broadway Show! This was not a show. This was a dance club that stops intermittently for some semblance of plot. It’s a very simple story of ‘The Bachelorette’. Each round has the audience members choose the bachelor they like and eliminate a couple of the current bachelor line-up. While the audience votes, it becomes a dance club with minor interaction between the audience members and the cast.

I suspect all of the glowing reviews here were left by friends of the cast and Unilocal Elites who got free passes. The show was boring — no doubt about it — but the concept was cool, plus I really like the 90s music they played!

Surprisingly hilarious and funny! This place really exceeded my expectations: the male actors were extremely attractive(especially the brown British guy), their dialogue was hilarious, the dancing was fun! Really recommend this place for a fun night out if you’re into men.

Definitely fun and unexpected. Nick Viall from The Bachelorette was there that night as a special guest. If you have time before the show, stop somewhere to grab a drink, you’ll need it. They have drinks at the venue too, but they are a little pricey. I scored a couple of tix from Unilocal(Thanks Unilocal), and would highly recommend the show if you are looking to have fun, dance, and blow off some steam. This place is great for girl’s night out and for bachelorette parties. Guys, you will enjoy it too if you don’t mind being surrounded by women: p This is an interactive game show/dating show with a dance party every 10 minutes. The cast was great. They had some fun dance performance numbers too. We interacted with some interesting characters. The dynamic DJ duo Andrew & Andrew spun some top 40 and other random pop. They were great too, but please don’t ever play the Macarena again! Definitely check out the show… bring a smile and your dancing shoes!!!

I was invited by a friend/Yelp Elite and was excited to come, but soon after arriving, my excitement dissipated. First, the venue that it was at was really disgusting. My shoes literally stuck to the alcohol-soaked carpeted floor. That was an immediate turn-off. And then the show started… It started off slow because the sound system was poor and I literally couldn’t understand what was being said by the host. When I was able to piece together what was happening, the show itself was just very meh to me. Nothing new or exciting in the plot. I will, however, give respect to the actresses/actors who stayed in character during the show as it was very interactive with the audience. From at least what I can see, they did not deter from who they were portraying when talking to the audience during the dance party breaks. The only positive memory I had/liked was while I was outside waiting for a friend before the show, the bachelors dressed in full costume came through the entrance as if they were just patrons like us coming into the show. That may have been the only thing I found unique about the show. Otherwise, I wouldn’t spend money or time on this. Actually speaking of time, my friends and I literally left halfway through the show because we wanted to use our time better(ie drinks at the nearest bar!). This show just wasn’t for me.

I came here thanks to Ruggy and some great tickets I was gifted for being an Elite Unilocaler! BIGSHOUTOUTTO my community manager! YOUDAMAN! Had a great time here with my girlfriend and we danced our butts off! The show is hilarious and is super interactive. Plus the dudes stay in character the whole time! Thank you to the Prince for doing a Dirty Dancing style lift on this Colombian! I could legit see my house from that height! Best time! Only wonky thing is the bathroom! Plus go before to come! lol

Come here with the thought of being at a off broadway«non» show but rather with the mentality of going to a dance club for dancing and mingling. It really was more of a dance club vibe rather than a show from the actors. Interaction between the audience members and the cast also takes place but its very basic stereotyping bachelor type of dialog. We aren’t talking about a «sleep no more» type of show where there is a actual story and almost audience participation. Come to this show with a basic outlook on a simple story but enjoy the great DJ mixing up a set of great songs. Skip the bar area as all the items were overtly overpriced. It’s definitely a environment for a girls night out type of feel.

I really liked and appreciated the energy of this show. Everyone was in high spirits and the mix of songs they were playing took me back to the olden days… shout out to Hanson, Montell Jordan, TLC, Ace of Base, etc… represent! Hehe: P The«show» itself was a bit slow, and the dancing time was a bit long. But, you do get to enter your votes online(there’s free wifi) and the actors/actresses do come up to you and interact with you, which was really fun!

I was very lucky in being able to score two free tickets to go to That Bachelorette Show and while I’m grateful for the tickets I keep thinking that if I paid for the them I would have been disappointed. The title is a little misleading as it’s not much of a show. That Bachelorette Dance Party or That Bachelorette Nightclub would have been more appropriate titles. Dancing is fun but if you want to dance you’re probably better off going to an actual club or bar where it won’t be as expensive to get in because coming here to see the«show» isn’t worth it. Regular sized Poland Spring water bottles are $ 6. I get that it’s a club but wtf!?! I didn’t even want to know how much alcoholic drinks were. Have something to drink before you come in here. I loved the DJs who wore adorable matching outfits and played all the best dance and pop songs all night. Another cool thing was before the show started the cast came up to audience members and spoke to us in character getting us excited for the show. The entertainers were very enthusiastic in their roles. I also loved the choreographed dances they did. If you’re interested in seeing That Bachelorette Show, 1 Carat Tickets(General Admission, which does not include seating) are $ 49.99 and the prices go up from there.

The venue is called 42WestNY. This is less of a show and more of a dance club. Tickets, if you purchase them, are like paying an overly expensive cover to get into a club. The acting is overly exaggerated, and plays a little too heavily on stereotypes, in my opinion. While some of the guys were pretty cool, others were not so much. For example… The ‘doctor’ of last night’s(Sept 11th) show was PLASTERED, and no, he was not ACTING shitfaced drunk, he was actually shitfaced. To the point that he fell over on the dance floor and couldn’t get himself back up on his feet. His co-actors had to carry him off. Yet, 20 minutes later, he was still back on stage, looking like an absolute fool during the final dance(ie. stumbling into the other actors, eyes barely open). I’m pretty sure my friend and I were not the only ones who noticed that he looked like he was about to puke all over his shoes, because I turned around and saw the same horrified look we had on our faces on a few of the other attendees. Seriously, not cool. I get that it’s supposed to be fun for both the audience and the actors, but if you are part of the show and it is your JOB, you should be more professional. I hope that he gets a stern talking to from the management. Overall, I’d say the show probably deserves a 2.5−3 stars, but I have to say that the DJs(DJAndrewAndrew) were fantastic! They were the highlight of our night. Their set was a solid mashup of ‘oldies’(to us millennials, that’s like the music we listened to in elementary and middle school) and top 40 songs… which were so much fun to dance to!

I was amused, and fairly entertained. The show was a good way to unwind on a Friday night. This was like a big fun girls’ dance party, interspersed with moments of acting. The actors taking the stage were parodying different types of bachelors to win the heart of the bachelorette. I especially enjoyed the brief dance challenge and choreographed dance. I also just like watching people on the floor dancing and having a good time. The DJs played good popular hits with strong rhythmic beats. There were girls celebrating a bachelorette party or birthday. While the humor was a bit cheesy, it was still good for some laughs. Thank you Unilocal for letting me win tickets to the show!(Though I tried not to let that bias my review.)

Pro tip: you can count the number of men(that aren’t the actors) at this show on one hand. It’s definitely more of a show you go to with your girl friends or bring a group of guys so you’re not the only guy there. I saw a few guys with their girlfriends and felt bad for them. It’s entertaining and all, just really cheesy. It’s fun, silly show with very exaggerated characters but that’s what makes it fun. There’s the cowboy, the doctor, the skater-surfer dude, rock star, average joe, one really flamboyant dude, etc. I mention the flamboyant dude because he goes up to girls and shakes their hand to introduce himself and when he gets to a guy he says«I only do hugs» and hugs the guys. This made me laugh! Really funny :) When you arrive it’s just like a fun party going on and the actors start coming sporatically and walking around and mingling. The bachelorette’s best friend is basically a Snooki/Deena character from The Jersey Shore — poof and all. More tips: Drinks aren’t cheap so drink some beforehand so you don’t hurt your wallets! Wear comfy shoes — there are not a lot of seats and a bunch are reserved! Mingle with the characters — it’s fun!

Thanks to Unilocal,I was able to score a couple free tickets to this interactive show. Overall, I enjoyed the show, but there were definitely some aspects of the experience that keep me from giving it a full 5 star rating. 1) Based on the show’s website, I knew that the seating would be limited(and reserved primarily for those with upgraded tickets), so I made sure to dress comfortably especially in the shoe department. However, the space was big enough that standing around didn’t mean being shoulder to shoulder with everyone around me. I was glad for this because I like my personal space. 2) It was cool being able to talk, dance, and interact with the performers before and during the show. You’re also allowed to take pictures and videos of and with the actors, which is very rare for live performances. However, I was annoyed that the performance/performers were targeted more towards the bachelorette parties in attendance, which made up only about half the audience. What about the rest of us? We want to dance, joke around, and feel part of the show, too! The whole time I was there, only 3 – 4 out of 13 actors approached my group, whereas each bachelorette party’s table was visited at least once or twice by every actor. 3) No surprise, the bar was very expensive. I bought 3 drinks(LIT, Jack and coke, and plain coke) and spent $ 42 including tip. I guess that’s to be expected though considering its New York theater prices. I would def recommend pre-gaming somewhere else before the show. 4) Lastly, I was annoyed with the voting system. You’re supposed to log into a website, and vote instantly for which bachelor you like. However, the system was down that night, and the employees were walking around taking your votes manually. I wasn’t so mad that the system was down because that probably wasn’t anyone’s fault, but the host or dj or someone should’ve made an announcement that this was the case. Not only did I miss the first round of votes, but I spent that whole time playing around on my phone trying to figure it rather than dancing and meeting the actors. After the second round of voting, I didn’t even bother anymore because the employees were circling the dance floor and I’d rather enjoy the music than hunt down someone to make my ultimately irrelevant choice of bachelors. Hopefully, the website acting up isn’t a regular occurrence. Like I said, I enjoyed the show for the most part. The cast was very funny and friendly, the interactivity is always a fun time, and the dj spun a good mix of new and old pop music. I don’t know if I would want to go again, but I would recommend it to anyone planning a bachelor party because who doesn’t like dancing and eye candy?

Came here via a Unilocal Elite event and I loved it! This is a musical, dance show, off Broadway play-hybrid. Tips: Wear comfy shoes because they are very few tables(and priority is given to ladies who are celebrating their bachelorette party). You spend half the time dancing, so if you are not into dancing, this might not be your thing. The audience was 98% women… ladies do not make your man suffer by bringing him to this show; it is more fun with just your girls! As soon as you walk in, actors are interacting with you. The plot: After being with her Ex-boyfriend for ages, the bachelorette breaks up with him because he wouldn’t commit. She goes on this«dating show» to meet the guy she should marry. All the guys are introduced to the audience. You then get to vote for your favorite guy while you dance and mingle with them. For some reason the website(used to vote) did not work for my friend and I. When we asked the bouncer, we were told that the voting really took place via some of the ladies that worked there and were going around asking for votes. This led me to believe that the audience really have no control on who she ends up with and it is all scripted. Regardless, this show was really fun although the West Coast guy, who was my favorite, did not win :( He was super nice and gave out free gummy bears. Drinks were not cheap, $ 12 so pregame a little. Carlos the bartender was quite sweet, generous and not bad on the eyes. Overall, I am very grateful I was able to attend. Try it!

So… I overheard one fellow patron stating, «this is where actors come to die». Is that true? I can’t divulge too much into the details like other Unilocalers did. Sometimes, I think it’s not fair to the show– I mean what if I told you the entire script of Aladdin before even seeing the movie? Anywho — the premise is exactly what everyone else says, there are 10ish eligible bachelors that are vying for this poor, broken-hearted Italian girl. There are a lot of interactions between the cast members and the crowd, and they performed extremely well, and kept in character the whole time. My personal favorites were the overpaid, «I make more in one month than you do in a year», MBA graduate, the heartthrob Spanish surgeon, and the Dubai prince with the Bollywood moves. The host was actually HILARIOUS– the DJ was having issues during one of the breaks and the host starts rapping(poorly), «we-are-ex-per-i-enc-ing-some-tech-ni-cal-diff-i-cul-ties». I LOL’ed. Overall, it was a fun night, and a good experience(thank you, Unilocal!), but I was a bit disappointed for two reasons. 1– the cast members very clearly target those in bachelorette parties. So for their interactions, they’ll be dancing with either the bachelorette or those in her party. I was also a bit confused, because I thought there would be other interactions OTHER than simply dancing with the crowd. They are trying to «win your vote” — which is done thru a website that you have to visit(hopefully your cell service is good!), so I figured there would be a bit more talking as opposed to dancing. But I guess that’s also based on how talkative the crowd is. 2– There was HARDLY any cast interaction with each other! Other than those dancing on stage, you’d think while they are mingling with the crowd to win a vote, they’d go up to the Dubai prince who is stealing attention and try to draw attention to them. No fights, understood, and also it could be because they want to spread out their time between the guests, but I thought there could have been a little something more, potentially on stage. Like, if the bachelorette asked a question, and the final two have to give their answers. Simply putting that in there would’ve added more of a background for these characters. So, is this a place where actors go to die? Maybe they go to die in the bathrooms, because they are hidden down a completely dark room with two levels of stairs but if you’re in heels you can’t see anything so good luck walking and also the men’s urinals are behind a single curtain so if you accidentally look behind this curtain you will see 10 penises.

What an experience this was. I walked into a room full of screaming horny women, dancing and shouting at the tops of their lungs over the men at the show. It felt like more of a club then an actual performing show to me to be honest. Although it was interactive, I really wasn’t fond of it. One minute the men are dancing with the crowd, then next they are up on stage being eliminated by the votes from the audience. It was different and weird, I lost interest very shortly in the show. Prices were outrageous, Water was $ 6, Corona $ 9 and tickets for the show was $ 50. I saw a bunch of bachelorettes, by all means this is not a show you want as your last Whaooo before your wedding, there’s no nudity, so what’s the point? Since I don’t want to reveal any spoilers, lets just say the men won’t enjoy it and some women will like it but definitely not all. It did the job but I wouldn’t recommend to others.

That Bachelorette Show should highly consider changing its name to That Bachelorette Dance Party. It was a huge stretch to call it a show because 80 percent of the production was just free form dancing, while the other 20 percent was a loose plot line with no concrete direction. The premise of That Bachelorette Show is about Adriana Orlando, who just broke up with her high school sweetheart, Giovanni Giovanni, after his failure to propose to her. Desperate for a new start, she puts her love life in the hands of That Bachelorette Show, in which 10 eligible bachelors compete to win Ardiana’s heart. It is up to the audience to pick Adriana’s new husband among a pool of Wall Street douchebag, surfer, British rock star, Kansas cow farmer, Average Joe, Latino doctor, etc. The very beginning of the show where the host introduces the bachelors was my favorite part. Each stereotype of the bachelor is highly accentuated by the actors(maybe a bit excessively without any subtlety). Between 2 – 4 bachelors are eliminated each round, with a free form dance party /mixing + mingling in between while the DJ plays the music. There were about 6 or 7 real-life bachelorettes who attended the show with their girlfriends. I think this would be a fun event if you came with a big group of friends who are ready to dance, but I came with my boyfriend so we just weren’t the target audience.

Great googly moogly! In the name of all that is holy, this place will defile everything sacred ANDYOUWONTCAREATALL. First of all, thank you to Unilocal for the raffle in which I won these great tickets! In a room full of at least 3 – 4 dozen screaming women I found myself. As one of the only 4 – 5 non-performing men in the room it was as if fate had smiled upon me, patted me on the back and embraced me with a particularly scrumptious gift. A shame all the attention was on the stage full of half-naked male models each fulfilling some fantastical niche such as the board-shorts baked skater from Cali, the Dubai Prince throwing down some seriously raunchy Bollywood moves, Italian Stallion heart surgeon chiming in with Italian poetry(or something that sounds like it), and the average-Joe overweight bearded guy with a fannypack and a shirt that read«Chubby Guys Cuddle Better»(we do), it’s easy to see why this show is appealing to the women and undoubtedly gay men in the audience. Part girls night out — part dance club — part off-Broadway mingle as well together as the performers did when they jumped off the stage to dance with the jaw-dropped show-goers in the audience. Completely interactive show in which you not only get to talk to the performers DURING the performance, dance with them, photo opps and more, but you also get to vote online who will proceed to the next round to win the heart of this Jersey Princess Guidette. Tl; Dr version: Go. To. This. Show. Honestly the most fun I have ever had at any show, ever. Seriously.

Every once in a while I get thrown curveballs. I usually know what to expect and conduct thorough research on places I visit. This my friend, this was a curveball… I was expecting a typical off-broadway play. I wAs expecting to sit for an hour or two and go elsewhere. I actually thought it might not be very good. Boy was I wrong… I walk in and I’m at a full blown nightclub. Everything you might expect at a club in New York, except the clientele is a bit classier. Young, mostly women, classy and looking to have fun. It’s basically a game show and dance party put into one awesome night. Pretend Ryan Seacrest is hosting«The Bachelorette» and during commercial break the place turns to a nightclub for like 20 minutes(after every round). During this time you dance and drink with the performers. There’s a cool DJ and you vote for the best husband-to-be. Ahh, I don’t want to ruin it but it’s awesome for a girls night or pregame party. You’ll meet the cast… it’s interactive! I actually want to go back with all my girlfriends. My boyfriend came with me and was one of the few men there but he was a good sport about it. I can’t wait to return. Thank you Unilocal! One of my favorite events thus far! I was so blown away and the energy was crazy. Thumbs way up… I can’t rave about it enough! Full House with happy women having fun!!! What more do you want! This is a great silly show to go with a group of girls, to kick off a hen night or just simply having a laugh If you like 80’s dance music and other feel good singalong and kick arse musika Jawohl come here to let go of daily dull repetitive routines, energize in here and get the adrenalin going. These sort of events are not so much my thing. I was invited by Unilocal to review for them. All performers were brilliant super friendly, the DJ great! I definitely recommend it for special occasions and groups.
