Never got our order. When we tried to call after waiting over an hour the line was disconnected. We called Seamless and they couldn’t even reach them so they cancelled the order. But from the looks of the other reviews that probably was for the best…

Super disappointed. All I wanted was a tortilla soup so I found this place that has it — also ordered chimichanga and pollo y Camarones. The soup is came as a cup of tortilla strips soaked in broth. There wasn’t a drop of soup to sip. Chicken was dry and lacked seasoning. Chimichanga barely had any flavor. Dumped hot sauce on everything. Never ordering again.

This place is surprisingly great. I always order the same thing — shrimp quesadilla, omelette, and a shake. They open late, and I usually order from seamless.

Ghetto A.F. but I LOVE their chicken fingers and French fries, all about the chicken. French fries are regular but still good and soft. 4 stars cus I imagine the rest of their food is good if their chicken is this good. I don’t even care about writing reviews, but my love for those chicken fingers is good and deep.

Please trust me, get the carne asada burrito or the carnitas(pork) tostadas. You will not be dissapointed. Meat is tender and flavorful, unlike the typical cheap or bland places elsewhere. Portuons sizes are filling and they are relatively cheap. I feel bad people have had a different experience. I was born and raised in Los Angeles(great mexican food) and moved to New York(bad mexican food) and this little hole in the wall is my favorite mexican joint. Their chips and guacamole are awesome too. If you order through you get $ 2.50 off of a $ 20 order. Happy eating!

On lex and 108th, this small Mexican spot is hard to miss when walking by. Keep an eye open and you’ll be treated to wonderful food and good service. I appreciate neighborhood places like this. Simple, good food, and not fussy. I usually get my food to go because I live right near by. I love their empanadas, guacamole, and their vegetable quesadillas. Huge servings for a great price. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for awhile but have only been going to this place since May — I wish I had stopped in sooner!

I’m a mexican food snob. This food was good. Carne Asada tacos good flavor, and liked the chorizo quesadilla. Not sure why all the haters.

Two stars because the food was decent. Delivery was horrible, I used seamless and nothing I noted was taken into consideration and my food arrived a mess.

The first time I ordered they forgot the horchatas and the food arrived cold. The second time I ordered they did not deliver my food, but charged me and refused to give my money back. When asked to speak to the manager the workers lied and said he would be in at the wrong time. This is the worst service and delivery I have ever experienced.

I got home from a workout at 11pm and wanted a steak burrito. This was one of the few places open that still delivered so I ordered without hesitation. While waiting for the order to be delivered, I decided to read some Unilocal reviews in order to kill some time. With each shitty review I read of this place, my anxiety grew. One reviewer literally wrote that they’d take a shit at the doorstep of this place. By the time I read these reviews, however, it was too late to call off the order. At this point I actually considered turning off all the televisions and hiding my noisy eight month old in the back of the apartment to create the effect that no one’s home, basically taking the Jehovah’s Witness approach with the Mexican delivery man and hoping he’d go away with whatever bullshit he brought to my door. After further introspection, however, I decided to man up and face my decision to blindly order from this place. When the delivery man got here, w/in a very reasonable amount of time, I gave him 10 dollars, which covered the price of the burrito and the tip. When I sat down at the table, I said a prayer(not the blessing, but a prayer) in the hopes that all would be well. Must have worked because when I bit in, it tasted great! Steak was seasoned correctly, texture of the meat was perfect, veggies were good, and burrito was wrapped tight. Totally worth the order to me. All that being said, my advice to you is if you want to order from this place, order from it and form your own opinion. You may be pleasantly surprised.

I… completely ordered from this place accidentally. I ordered chorizo tacos and chips and guac. They both were terrible and I ended up tossing the food. What a waste of money. Both the tacos and the guac tasted like… there was olive juice mixed in them. They were disgusting. The jarritos soda was good though. Tamarind is my favorite. But that’s hard to screw up since it’s a bottled beverage.

Not the best but not nearly as bad as everyone described. Ordered from . Order came quickly and was still warm. The mixed fajitas consisting of steak, shrimp, and chicken was just fine. The broccoli being in it was a little weird but it was good. I agree that the rice and beans aren’t very good. Probably wouldn’t order again but only bc it was just average.

Definitely not the best mexican I’ve ever had. by far! But this is a review for my overall experience tonight. My husband(an ex-marine) and I decided to go on a midnight run, of course afterwards he was famished -.- being new to the area the only place I knew to be open at 1AM was Hot & Crusty on 86th and I wasn’t in the mood for day old sitting out food, or the nastiness from 116th street. My husband decided on tacos so we began our trek to 116th, after running 4.5 miles trying to keep up with him I was looking for any place with food before 116. We came across this little hole in the wall and decided what the heck. The lady was friendly enough and as the name implies their expertise to be tacos he ordered chicken tacos and I trying to not negate the run had just guacamole(no chips). I wasnt expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The tacos were actually very good, my husband devoured it, I had a bite or two and it was better than some of the better looking spots in the area. The guacamole was ehhhhhh.. Watery? Flavor was good but they must use avocado paste? Instead of fresh avocados. If you are hungry past midnight get tacos… just tacos. They deliver to the 80s until past 1AM7 days a week. The chicken in the tacos was definitely discernible as chicken and we’ll seasoned, definitely not the best mexican but if we find ourselves hungry past midnight we’d probably get some more tacos from here.

Ordered from this place the other day and have to say it is not as bad as the previous reviews make it seem. We ordered on a night when it was downpouring and the food was still fresh and hot once it arrived, despite the length of time it took to delivery the food because of the weather. The chicken burrito was nicely made and packed well so it did not fall open after one bite. The nachos were fairly simple and good for sharing. Overall had a good experience with the food so perhaps they changed management/food preparation over the past few months.

Not even exaggerating but this was the most disgusting Mexican food I’ve ever had! I ordered steak fajitas and what I received was shocking! I wish I photographed it before throwing it out. It was delivered in 2 containers. One of them had the black beans and rice. The rice was bland and the black beans tasted like it was poured right out of a can. The other container was had the«steak». The initial image of it should have destroyed my appetite but I was starving. It was low quality meat with so much gristle. And it had red pepper, onions and… Broccoli(WTF). To top it off… It had a really thin layer of some white melted cheese on top of it that resembled something I don’t even want to mention. This was all floating in some murky liquid that tasted like the sweat/juice that comes out of meat when you begin cooking it. After a couple bites I threw everything away. I was so nauseated and pissed I paid $ 14 for this trash. This place is criminal. If only I looked at their reviews before ordering!

Awful! Save yourself and go down the street to El Aguila. I ordered a cheese quesadilla a 3 el pastor tacos, at midnight. The order took 15 minutes, while waitin I looked into their kitchen, since I noticed the B from the health dept, it was dirty, really dirty, no one was wearing gloves. When I unpacked the food it was a mess, the meat was unidentfieable, the quesadilla was melted together into 1 block of cheese and tortilla, it was awful. My girlfriend is now sick, from the little food we did decide to eat. Really terrible place!

This place is not as bad as the other reviews suggest. It is a dingy place in Spanish Harlem but it is actually run by Mexicans. The only thing is that they are using cheaper ingredients to save money. As the result, the food is blander than Mexican food should be. The tres leches cake here was actually pretty good. Their huevos rancheros was okay as well.

This place absolutely disgusting. I took one bite and asked my girlfriend, «what’s the name of that restaurant?» I could not wait to get to Unilocal and provide a review. I will personally go to this restaurant and let them know they should be shut down. Chicken enchilada– the meat in my enchilada was unidentifiable as chicken. All I could think of was how much it didn’t taste like chicken; possibly rat or pigeon. I wanted to puke after my first bite. I opened it up to see what it looked like. Wow. I wish I had a picture of this dog food. It just didn’t look healthy to eat. Nothing resembled chicken color or texture. The enchilada shell was mushy. But… That’s expected via takeout. There was no red sauce on this enchilada, rather a film of red paste. The rice and beans. Terrible. Flavorless and the beans were like bean paste that smelled foul and tasted foul. This place sucks!!! I will take a shit on their door step. If you’re like me and your body is your temple, don’t take days off of your life expectancy eating at this shithole.

I now know what it means to have a standard mexican meal in New York. This is not a compliment in any sense. Well, at least, this scares me from trying non Unilocal approved mexican food in the future. I decided to try the nearby Taqueria Guadalupe when I was offered a $ 10 off order from Grubhub. The meal was… mushy. The mushroom quesadilla had well cooked mushrooms. However, the cheese was far from anything that could be called queso. It was not zesty or sharp. It’s not really fair to comment on the crispyness of the tortilla because it was not eaten when right off the stove. When I got it, it was… mushy. The salad it came with was standard. Shockingly, the guacamole was watery! How is this even possible? I can only think it was somehow reconstituted from guacamole powder or preserved. It also needed cilantro and lime. The burrito was absolutely a mess. The veggies were mushy and unspiced. I would not be surprised to find that these veggies were originally frozen. No char marks or crispyness was left in them. I had to remove them just to finish the burrito. The rice was overcooked and, again, mushy. The bean to rice ratio was so low I could not even remark on the taste of the bean. Finally, the same cheese was used in the burrito as the quesadilla. I hate to give a place such a scathing review. The saving graces were the speed of getting my order ready and the red salsa.
