This review has been five years in the making.
As a model who have had hair stylists from all over do my hair Tanika is still the best Weave Specialist Hands down. She is so Excellent at having a full head weave look so Natural and Gorgeous.
No matter what your natural hair looks like Tanika has a way to work with it to receive the best most beautiful you. Am so glad and honored to have her do my hair.
A visit to her salon is always a Transformation.

I got my first weave today and boy am I happy that I found Tanika. My hair looks SO natural, just like it’s my own. The photos available online do Tanika NO justice. This woman is a magician and so kind and funny — you will love every minute of your time with her and you will not believe the end result. After having this experience with Tanika, I truly believe no woman should walk around with an unnatural looking weave. Tanika should be working with a number of celebrities, because her ability and care and skills are beyond what I’ve ever seen or expected to experience and it is totally worth the investment. I highly recommend Tanika. I will be back and will be sending ALL my friends and family. In fact, after seeing the photos, my cousin is already ready to book her appointment at the end of the month. Choose no one but Tanika to do your hair. You wont regret it.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Tanika and she has the best personality. She was warm and inviting. She was knowledgeable and did not mind sharing information. Hopefully we can do a business venture soon!

Today was my first (of what will be many) visit to tanika’s salon. To say my weave came out amazing would be an understatement. I have very thin hair, particularly on the top of my head, and have had a horrible time getting weaves that looked natural and blended in with my hair. I was beginning to think I would have to start wearing weaves with bangs for the rest of my life. I’ve been to great salons throughout the country but NO ONE has been able to give me the result Tanika has. Not only does my weave look natural and full, I am also no longer afraid of the wind. Lol. Plus i’m not wearing bangs and i have an awesome side swoop. If you’re considering a weave you MUST try Tanika. You will not be sorry.

This dump is in an illegal cellar boiler room of a residential only SRO. Tanika is a low class loser trying to bilk clients out of $$$$ (having only gotten her license a few months ago). Unable to get a REAL commercial space she has resorted to unsafe illegal space and tries hard to maintain the idea that this is ok! NOT OK. FDNY has already evacuated them twice, there is an outstanding eviction order on her, she now locks herself in and still is living in a dreamland about «her salon» WHAT A DUMP! WHAT AN IDIOT! STAY AWAY from this MESS!!!

Yesterday was my first time visiting Tanika. My hair came out fabulous and I had an amazing time in the process. Not only is Tanika a great stylist but she also is a really nice person. We talked and laughed the whole time she was doing my hair that I didnt realize she had finished my hair! I will def be coming back to Tanika and recommending her to anyone that needs a great hair weave without the «typical» salon experience.
