Terrible! My 10 year old did a day camp there and although the staff were friendly, her day was full of precocious 5⁄6 year olds — that’s fine but keep them in one class and the older kids should be taught in another. I turned up to collect my daughter and they had a ‘performance’ at the end of the day that the parents could watch — it was awful — the 5 – 6 year olds ruled — the older kids didn’t get a look in — this was nothing more than an expensive babysitting service. Shame because my daughter is now put off joining another drama group.

One of my worst experiences was at TADA theater. The performance was lousy, some of the actors/kids forgot their lines and it was definitely not interesting at all. I took my daughter to see Alice’s tribulations and the only thing Alice did was speak fast and keep a surprised face during the entire 45 min(that’s how long the show was). The Cheshire cat was the only kid/actor I liked, who was seriously performing. The other kids, I felt, were there because they wanted to participate in an afterschool activity. On top of it all, in the last raw, the choreographer and director of the show were seated together. The two women chatted and laughed with each other throughout the show and I felt that they did not care much about its importance. After all it was not important! The audience, I think, was full with parents and kids’ relatives. Thus, I do not understand why sell tickets for a lousy show at a lousy theater with very lousy performers and teachers. I will definitely not go back and will not recommend it to anyone else.

LOVELOVELOVE this place! My 5 year old daughter has been attending classes for a year and absolutely loves it. The program is wonderful and the teachers and staff are awesome — very welcoming and friendly. The prices are reasonable and the location is on the same block as the N train. The kids put on a show at the end of each session, you would be amazed at how much they learn in a few weeks — from songs to dance to writing and performing their own script. I can’t say enough how pleased both my daughter and I are with TADA!
