Alyssa you ROCK! I came here for an upgrade. Alyssa was the associate that helped me. She’s the sweetest! She didn’t rush me, and she was VERY pleasant to chat with. She didn’t aggressively push any accessories on me but somehow I ended up purchasing 3. I asked a bunch of questions and she answered them w/o looking annoyed. I love that type of customer service.

The sales rep who helped me was Alvaro. He was great, answered all my questions and was even patient with me when I needed to transfer money between checking accounts. I was able to pre-order my iPhone 6 quickly. I asked him about a condition that a T-mobile store has set for iPhone 6 customers about buying $ 70 worth of accessories and said it wasn’t true. T-mobile was not promoting that condition and was most likely something that store had made up on their own(prob for extra commission). But aside from that, this store has always been a great store. In my years of being a T-mobile customer, best one yet.

I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. Alvara(I hope I got his name right) greeted me 6 feet away and took care of what I needed right away. I knew the two phones that I wanted was hard to get. He told me right away that the phones that I wanted was sold out in metro city area and they are back ordered. The manager also helped while Alvara was helping another customer who came before me. The manager had great attitude and quick wit and knew exactly what he was talking about. He was great in taking care of several of his sales staff at once. Everyone was working together to get things done. Alvara was smart enough to quickly check the shipment that just came in and got me the phones that was backordered. Because of his quickness, I got my phones before another customer had asked for them. There was only 1 quantity left of each phone that I wanted and I got both. Alvara was very polite, professional and on point. Their customer service is top notch!

Thays and Milena are the best! I came in here about a week ago, to get an account and 2 phones. Always call a store if they have the phone you want in stock. None of their stores currently carry any of the iPhone 4S. Luckily, Milena and Thays were able to get both phones for me. Otherwise, I might as well have ordered it online and would have had to wait a few days. I didn’t have all the account info to switch both numbers. Thays was super nice and I was able to text her the next day all the info she needed. It only took a few minutes and she switched it right away. Also, keep in mind that getting a new account and phones will take time. So, if you plan to come in store, make sure that you’re not in a rush.

When you come into a T-mobile store, and all the reps are busy taking care of customers, that makes you feel like something is happening. When your wait isn’t too long, and the guy who helps you is able to get your hacked iphone 4s working with an unlock chip that T-mobile doesn’t even support. Win! All this and they did it for free too. Wow. I actually came into the store looking to get a new micro-sim card as I thought that would fix my problem. But it had nothing to do with that. It was the APN settings for the cellular data network. Using an AT&T iphone on another network is not for the faint of heart, but when you get it working, it’s the greatest!

After I was a victim of an edge-of-your-seat purse-snatching and high speed chase, complete on three-inch-heels and screaming obscenities, I recovered everything — except my phone. Lucky for me, I was overdue for an upgrade and replacing my stolen phone would be pretty minimal. I walked into the 46th&6th location at 7:15, knowing that they closed at 8:00 pm. I knew it was cutting it tight and I may not be able to get everything done. But by amazing customer service and some snappy descisions on my part, I walked out 20 minutes later with a fully functional phone. Thanks for being super!

UPDATE — BUYERBEWARE — T-Mobile at 11806th Avenue, New York, NY10036 A monthly fee of $ 5 for insurance is being added to my bill even though I didn’t ask for it or want it. When I called to ask why they did this, they said they automatically add insurance to new upgrades WHETHERYOUWANTITORNOT! I complained to T-Mobile’s customer service department and they said some stores have their own policies. However, they did give me a refund for the 3 months and cancelled the service. If you purchase your cell phone from these people, be sure to ask them if insurance is added and write on your invoice that you do not want it if you don’t. Then check your next bill. You also might want to check with Walmart when buying a cell phone. I paid a hundred bucks less for my new phone through them. They give great discounts and can sign you up with T-Mobile. That way you can avoid the pushy salespeople, pay less for the phone and choose any cell phone company you want.
