With soo many sushi places, what makes me go with Sushi. com? Their delivery min is low($ 7) and you get a 20% discount on your first order with them on Seamless! The lunch special is cheap and comes in giant portions. I was so stuffed after my katsu special. The delicious smell permeated my office and got my coworkers all hungry and jelly-eyed, fufu. Beyond the deal, their food is pretty generic. Sushi is a-ok.

Readers beware, Sushi. com exists no more. A few weeks ago I was told that Sushi. com was renovating and that another sushi spot, Wasabi Lobby, is owned by the same people and will be taking Sushi.com’s orders temporarily. Well, I just ordered on Sushi. com via Seamless and walked over to find that a nail salon has taken over the space. I went to Wasabi Lobby to pick up my order since that’s what I did last time. Same owner but not the same chefs and managers. BIGDIFF. I’ve already had a couple of sub-par experiences w/Wasabi Lobby but I was willing to give them another shot since they were taking over for Sushi. com. But to my disappointment, the quality has stayed the same from the last time, about 2 stars. Edible but not enjoyable. Watered down miso soup. Days(week) old salad that I had to pick out. Scanty rice on rolls. Yep, that is what I remember Wasabi Lobby to be like. I’m sad my go-to sushi spot is gone. I won’t be getting sushi for lunch anymore anytime soon — not in this area. Sushi is overpriced and mediocre on the UES.

Really like this place! The sushi and portion size are really good! The servers and waitstaff are extremely friendly, overall excellent customer service! I would recommend this place and they will continue to get my business!

I’ve only been twice, and each time I have ordered the same scallops appetizer.(I would order more and go more often but I’m a student on a budget so even an appetizer is a splurge.) Both times the food = great, portions = generous, staff = friendly. They even remembered me a month later! I hope more people visit and it stays around for a while so I can come back once I start working again and order a lot.

Wow! Great food, amazing service, nice place! I am from the west coast, and this sushi actually compares to the sushi over there. I have been there a couple of times now, and will definitely be going back. I have been to many little sushi places in the city and this is one of the best ones I have been too. Not only is the sushi great, but the other food on the menu is good as well. The service is amazing and super friedndly. Defintiely a place worth going too… especially if you live in the area!!!

I have tried a number of lunch specials at Japanese restaurants along the 2nd Ave. in the UES, and this place has by far the best deal. Tons of food for a great price. I’m not going to say the food blew me away, but it was pretty good. Definitely worth checking out.

Bright, clean place with good, fresh food. I ordered the Boston roll — generous portion and fresh ingredients. They didn’t scrimp on the sashimi cuts either — they were thick and very fresh(Yes, FRESH is the keyword). The downside was the waiter was bugging me to order. I was the only customer(except for this one guy who was almost finished with his food)!!! He kept pestering me. «What do you want?» «Do you want to order?» «Are you ready?» As someone who works in the food industry, I know how annoying it is when customers take forever to order and you have a million other things to do. But really, what else could he be doing at 4 in the afternoon and(as I said) I was the only customer?

Just what this neighborhood needs, another crappy sushi place. The food was tasteless and boring. The woman who took my order over the phone was very rude. Save your money.

The food was really good. I got the 2 roll lunch special. With the 20% off it was $ 8 for spicy salmon/tuna rolls, soup, and salad. The rolls were a good size and tasted great. The miso was also really good, not too salty. Definitely the best sushi lunch deal in the neighborhood.

recently opened right around the corner from me, and it’s GREAT. I actually just went out of my way to make a Unilocal page for it because I want to make sure they get enough business to stay in the area. I’ve mostly tried the rolls so far, and I enjoy them. They’re fresh and well made. I’m no sushi expert, but I do know that this is better than a lot of other places near me, namely Wasabi Lobby, which despite its catchy name, is really quite terrible. My favorite rolls so far are the crunchy spicy salmon roll and tuna lovers roll. Oh, and if you order online, you get 20% off!
