Having been referred to Susan through another professional, as a caregiver to my adult child w/​complex behavioral disabilities, I interviewed with her first, and felt she might be helpful for my (kid). It’s been 5 months now in treatment and though there have been a couple of crises, which she helped to smooth, her input has been invaluable. She has a pricey address, though modest offices, and I’d never fault her fees. Psychiatric help of any quality is never cheap. Insurance coverage is limited at best; having gone the clinic route in the past, i can only recommend maintaining mental balance over the alternative whenever possible. Susan technique is tailored to certain types of disorders and she can best discern whether her treatment is suitable for you. Then you choose.

This is a truly non-​empathetic, money hungry therapist. I had a similar experience as the patients whose reviews here were filtered (Be sure to read those). I cancelled my next appointment well in advance and she attempted to not only charge me but also manipulate (nearly threaten) me into returning to treatment with her. The type of therapy she does is cult-​like in my opinion, and I can only imagine what damage she’s done to who knows how many patients. People seeking help are often vulnerable as it is, and I can see how it might be easy to fall for this type of bullying and nonsense. Don’t waste your time (and money).
