Very professional attitude!

One day I am walking around fine and dandy, well minus the aches and pains of old age, and the next thing I know my knee is hurting something awful.
Enter Doc Hershon.
I saw him at his Manhasset office which is Very busy but moves really quickly due in large part to the staff that works like a well oiled machine.
Efficient AND friendly.
Hands on exam. Consult. «Sounds like it might be a torn meniscus.» Straight off the bat.
Xray…need MRI. K… follow-​up visit. Yup… torn meniscus.
Surgery (gulp!)?
Some people live with a torn meniscus and no biggie… others not so much.

No pushing of surgery.
Just your options.
6 weeks later I’m scheduling surgery.
Cut to North Shore Hospital (upcoming review),
Doctor Hershon is calm, cool, collected and five minutes with him, so am I. Let’s do this.
I see him right after in recovery. «Looks good» «See you in a week.»
Stitches are tiny. Iced the swelling into oblivion.
Six weeks physical therapy (doc’s orders).
Final consult. I’m good to go!
My recoup time was excellent and this was the Best «I wish I didn’t have to do this» experience ever.
Doctor Hershon exudes experience. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.
He ain’t the Yankee doctor for nothin’.
