I always have a good time at stout. This location is big and spacious and has a great ambiance for a higher scale ‘pub’ and sports bar. The food and service is good. There rules for tables on big games night can be annoying, but that’s minor. They did a good job handling the crowd during superbowl last night. The food was still good and our server was very nice(irish girl) Come here over 121 Fulton.

Just another rather ordinary FiDi bar. I liked how spacious it was though. It reminds me a lot of the Trading Post, only more spacious lengthwise and less dark. They have quite a few beers on tap. I tried one of the pale ales and it tasted decent but rather forgettable. They have a myriad of TV’s that broadcast a bunch of different sports. They also started trivia at some point during the night(this was on a Tuesday), which was cool. Seems like an okay hangout spot with colleagues after work but not really somewhere I’d especially go out of the way to come back to.

We unexpectantly came across stout, we were lost in the financial district, hungry and in need of a really good cocktail. We certainly came across the right place. Eric the bartender made me a very unusual cocktail but it tasted delicious and gave me a nice buzz. My friend doesn’t drink so she had a diet coke. There was a trivia pub quiz taking place and we jumped in. The host had alot of great questions and was very funny, making fun of himself and players. We ordered some appetizers and a chicken sandwich and it was all very delicious. I was pretty impressed with this place as it doesn’t stand out in the maze of many bars restaurants and business in the financial district. I just regret not having a «stout» in stout

OK ok ok the staff get 5 stars. Not complaining. Having been a bartender and waitress and restaurant manager in the past I know what I’m talking about. This menu has the potential to be AMAZING. But. I got the bratwurst burger added Swiss. It comes with cabbage and saurkraut and Russian dressing. First time out, no cheese and fries were lukewarm No worries I explained the mix up and it was sent back. Second time, they clearly added cheese to the same burger on the grill or in a very hot oven because burger is now charred and can no longer taste the yummy bratwurst. Also fries had obviously been just thrown back into the fryer for a minute versus giving me fresh because they were over fried. How much does a handful of fries cost. Wow. Additionally there’s less than a teaspoon of the«saurkraut and red cabbage» touted on the menu. Stella was good.

I came here to watch football and I loved it. The ambiance was very good and I like the bar area cos they have more than one screen showing different sports. Def. a place to try if you want to watch sports in FiDi :))

Spacious and decent sports bar in the Financial District to grab a few drinks, enjoy the bar food, watch a game, or catch up with a buddy. We thought this was a great spot to grab a few drinks before meeting friends outside of the city. On New Year’s Eve, it was not super pack, but loud enough considering a few games were on. They have the best Allagash white beer! My favorite bar food is chicken fingers and fries. Totally loved it here! As I’d made my way to the facilities, I noticed they have a very nice dinning section. Looks classy! Affordable and decent services! If in FIDI, definitely check it out.

Well I decided to go back after over a year and a half. I mean you can’t have two horrific experiences at the same place, can you? WRONG. Danielle once again made sure to ruin an otherwise fine evening with her rude, disgusting and unprofessional behavior. Not surprising an employee there confided she only has that job because of who she knows(nepotism at its best). I’d avoid at all costs.

Based on some of the other reviews about service I should mention we visited on a Monday evening when it was quite empty. Great, huge beer list. Friendly bartenders(who gave us a free round of craft beers when they made a mistake on our dinner and quickly got us the right dish). Food is good, albeit expensive. Nothing OUTSTANDING about the place, but all around a solid, casual spot with a nice atmosphere. I’ll be going back for a good beer in the future.

Horrible bar service not even busy on a Saturday night with 4 bartenders. Every drink took 10 minutes at a time to get a 14 dollar drink. It’s ok I ll suck on that but when you pour my 14 dollar drink and leave it for 10 minutes waiting by the service bar its unacceptable! After bringing our drinks watered down the pour was so uneven that I kindly asked him which is the right pour and he replied to me with a cocky face why do you want less? Bad experience never going back there again. Not surprised many people I know they tell me the same about their service…

I’ve only been here once, but I liked it. It was a work lunch and I ordered the seared Tuna salad — it was fantastic! Didn’t expect it from a pub, so really pleasantly surprised. The others mainly ordered burgers and they looked great as well — no complaints from the table!

Plenty of big screens, free UFC. Busy crowd, nice mixed drinks, the appetizers were just ok

I first experienced Stout out of their Midtown location so when they opened up one closer to work in the financial district I couldn’t say no to stopping by for a co-worker’s going away party. The space is HUGE. It is almost cavernous with slick surfaces all around. This causes an echo effect so you will need to stand close to whomever you are talking to. I really liked that they allowed the party planners to reserve a few tables and decorate with balloons and decorations(some bar will not allow you to do this so make sure to call ahead!). They gave us a dedicated server so our drinks came out quickly. The beer selection is excellent and our waitress was helpful to recommend beers that we might like. They don’t have happy hour, but they have daily specials(bucket of beer night/craft beer night/ect). I have only ever had their appetizers and my favorite is the potato pancake with apples pie on top. It is delicious and sweet. One thing: there is a $ 15 card minimum. If you are there for just 1 drink(about $ 8) bring cash.

Great looking place, food is average pub food but the prices are ridiculous… There about a dozen pubs close by and they offer food and especially drinks. Minimum 15 per drink ouch. I feel bad for the servers since your getting taken to the cleaners for food and drinks then they expect a tip… Boooo!!! I’m searching for my receipt now! Long Island ice tea and a burger… That’s all I had!

Decent bar to hang out in Fidi — I’d give it 3.5 stars. It’s usually pretty packed and loud, coupled with the darkness you probably have to strain most of your senses for this experience. Beer’s not the cheapest, but they have some good drafts. Food is also pretty good for bar food. We usually come here for drinks near my boyfriend’s apartment since it’s about a minute walk.

My boyfriend went here with some classmates about 2 weeks ago on a Friday night and honestly said it was the worst experience he’s ever had. It took the waitress 20 mins to take their drink orders and she just overall ignored them, probably because they weren’t in fancy suits and it was a Friday, but they should have enough people on the floor to handle a Friday night rush. But what really takes the cake and the main reason for the 1 star and the review, the waitress closed both his tab and someone else’s tab on our card. She even gave herself a large tip on the other check that wasn’t ours that was paid using our card. When I called my bank about the pending charge they said to wait till it cleared because a lot of times a server will close the wrong check on a card and reverse it, but the bank doesn’t see that until it clears, so I waited until Monday when it cleared(with a tip on it). So I call up the restaurant to speak to the manager about this and she says she’ll look into it and call me back. That was on Monday, September 28th. I didn’t hear anything from the manager so I’m dealing with it from the bank. Its not October 7th, and I’ve still yet to hear anything from Stout or the manager.

Came here with a friend for Thursday night football. I love down here in the financial district, so I walk by everyday and and wanted a new place to try for football and beer. There isn’t any deals really for the beer, so as usual, it’s super over priced for what you get. I buy craft beer quite frequently, and they don’t have much of a rare selection and most of the stuff you can get for way cheaper at any beer store. I tried the loaded fries which came with cheese, jalapeños, bacon and ranch dressing. Wasn’t impressed by them at all. Just was very flat and lacked real flavor. The game brought in a good amount of people but I doubt I would return to Stout. There are way better places than this bar especially for good craft beer.

First, I’d like to thank Adair for her superior customer service. Honestly, we were there for a few and there was no hostess present, so we just grabbed a table deciding to leave if we weren’t helped in 10 minutes. Not only were we given assistance, but she gave us the rundown of her choice items on the menu. there is an extensive, EXTENSIVE beer menu to select from. foodwise, there were so many great options available; the fried shrimp was amazing, light, fried to perfection covered in a what seemed like a savory aoili. I also went with the stout burger, with the super cheesy wisconsin cheddar and applewood smoked bacon. there were a number of sauces to choose from and for todays visit, the lemon pepper aoili was perfect. finally, the lamb lollipops. Not something I have all the time anymore, this brought me back to when I was a kid. beautiful crust, juicy, we couldn’t stop it was so good, and the chimchurri sauce I continued with my fries even after the lamb was gone. will definitely be coming back here again! can anyone let me know how they feel about the other one in comparison? hopefully its the same owner

I really wanted to like it here. Eric and I came in for a pint and a bite to eat. There weren’t a lot of people there but the guy next to us was incredibly wasted. We ordered beers and some chicken fingers and I went to the bathroom. Walking back from the bathroom, there’s a manager or something who directs me to go around the high tops back to the bar. I look over and there’s puke on the floor in at least 2 spots. I get back to the bar and sit down. I am about to eat a chicken finger when I look at the drunk guy next to me and wonder what is floating in the top of his beer. Oh wait, it’s more vomit. We try to eat our chicken fingers and they are really good but tainted by the vomit right next to us. We try and angle ourselves away but it’s not really possible. The bartender brings out food to the drunk guy and his friend and the guy promptly passes out with his head almost on the plate. Yes, I think, no more puke! Alas, that was not to be. He wakes up and pukes on his plate and on the bar. And finally his friend takes him out. This entire week time, no one in the bar addressed the issue to him, his friend, us or anyone. I got the impression that they would have just let him continue to sit there if his friend hasn’t taken him out. Disappointing! The chicken fingers would have been much better without the vomit sideshow and the tap list was decent for the land of FiDi bruhs.

Huge beer selection. Über pretzel was pretty good. Poutine was decent(Who doesn’t love rosemary gravy paired with cheese curds? Not this girl!). The crowd was your generic, 20-something/30-something fidi bankers, but the bar had seats and service was decent. Place is huge and they handled the bustling crowd quite nicely. I’d go back. I don’t mind the menu at the one in midtown and for fidi, it’s slightly higher than par for the course. Beats Les Halles. so there’s that…

Great space, great food, great ambience, fair prices. Yeah, there is a bit of corporate sports bar vibe but it’s the financial district. Try the crunchy delicious Srancha sauce! Yes — ranch and sriracha sauce!
