I met Stephanie in May of 2014. I was diagnosed with bi lateral lymphedema as a result of a skiing accident which caused trauma to both of my knees, in addition to being diagnosed with a DVT(blood clots) in one of my legs. Stephanie was a huge help in getting my swelling under control. I continue to see her for Lymphatic drainage massage, which helps immensely to maintain my positive progress. I would strongly recommend Stephanie if you are in need of a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.

I met Stephanie in the Spring of 2010. At that time I had just finished Chemo and was about to have a double mastectomy. Due to the removal of most of my lymph nodes on the right side I had developed lymphedema in my right hand. My oncologist’s nurse practitioner suggested I meet with Stephanie. When she first met me the lymphedema was advanced she wasn’t sure if she would be able to resolve the issue. The two of us agreed on an aggressive treatment schedule and my lymphedema slowly went away. Since then I’ve learned to live with it and have gradually given up my compression glove and sleeve except when I feel I really need it(which is hardly ever). I recently started doing triathlons and I compete without any type of compression garment. Stephanie’s demeanor is calming. She is kind and compassionate and I think of her now as a friend as opposed to a service provider. I consider myself lucky to have been under her care and continue to see her now every 2 — 3 months just to stay on top of the lymphedema. While it will never go away completely it is totally manageable and rarely is a problem. My advice to anyone who has lymph nodes removed is to see Stephanie — either to prevent anything from happening or to resolve any issues that are starting. I cannot say enough good things about her and highly recommend her!
