Starbucks

Everything seemed to be going just fine until I had to wait 20 minutes for my drink, to only get it wrong. I had ordered an Iced Green tea latte but instead got it hot. This wasn’t the first time they had messed up an order and I noticed when it’s not so busy, the employees usually fool around and aren’t focused which is probably why my order was wrong. It didn’t help that I had to wait 20 minutes, because when I usually come here it takes 5 – 10 even when it’s really busy, so there shouldn’t be any excuses. I would give one star but since this is the only Starbucks by my job I’m stuck coming here if I want fappe’s or latte’s :/

Love this Starbucks!!! Although it is packed the majority of the times you go there it has the room and manpower to handle the crowds. The line moves fast, the baristas are efficent, and there is more than enough seating. What more could you ask from a Starbucks in New York City and SoHo at that. This is my fav Starbucks near my job so it is def on my list of faves.

Their way to prepare drinks is really average.
I usually come this location with my little puppy since they are welcome animal store and I’m a long term customer in this location for at least three years.
However, a female staff kick me out because I have puppy with me. Seriously ?! Do you think you should come to customer if there is any issues like this? Not just talk it out loud from your coffee counter. Even u r Starbucks staff, u really should think before you speak
She told me there is dog parking outside. DO YOU HAVE EYES on YOUR FACE? That’s bicycle parking spot. Do u think I should park my little puppy there? U must kidding me !

I used to work close by so this was my go to Starbucks during a quick break. Just one star off because of their staff sometimes have a little too much fun and could be a little faster/​efficient when making drinks and taking orders. Besides that, this Starbucks did a great job trying to maximize the space and provide as much room for seats as possible. Sometimes it can be packed especially midday time but if you wait a little, a new seat pops right up.

Everytime I come here I would have to repeat my order twice and they still mess it up. Get this, when I would always repeat myself the barista would always sound annoyed, well guess what I should of repeated myself three times and maybe write it down on a Sharpie next time. Done with this place, at least smile at me while you mess up my order so I would feel good about my day.

LOVEEEE THE PLAYLIST! Fast line, but run out of certain drinks pretty quick «Strawberry Acai». Great place to have a cup of coffee while you rest your feet from exploring New York the whole day.

Been coming to this Starbucks for quite some time (since 2003) and I have NEVER had a bad experience here. On occasion the line has gotten very very long (to the front door) and they quickly send out an employee with a headset to take your order as you are waiting. When you get to the register you just pay, step to the left and wait. There have been times when my, as well as other people simply grab their order and go, because it is already made. The bathrooms are kept in pretty good condition considering its a public restroom and in a very busy area.

One of my favorite Starbucks worldwide! Ample well-​heated space with a lot of outlets and free wifi for customers in a premium location!
Ideal to have a snack while recharging your electronics or as a casual meeting point…

Soho shops are narrow but long and this Starbucks is no exception. The difference is that they know how to utilize the space well. There are seats all around the shop and then a long bench down the middle. Finding a seat can be difficult because it is always crowded. There are also long lines to order something and to the bathroom. The staff working here definitely know how to handle a crowd and is able to pump out drinks quickly.

Love this place!
The location is of super convenience and I can always do my afterwork assignments here. And the best of it, it’s just right in the center of SOHO. Every time I shop and feel tired, I come here to rest myself. Besides, you can also get some eye candies while you are refreshing yourself with a cup of coffee. :)) That’s why I always enjoy Friday nights working in this place.

Not one of the best Starbucks in New York City. Needs improvement.
First of all, the staff likes to goof around when there’s a line of people waiting for their drinks. I’m usually a very busy person so I know not to come here for a quick drink when I’m in a rush.
They need to do something about loiters. I came in trying to find a place to sit because I have a DRINK and a SANDWICH. I think I should actually sit somewhere to EAT. 80% of the people sitting didn’t even buy anything. Just came to charge their phone & get wifi. Not to mention, they were sitting there for a good 1 – 2 hours. this Starbucks team need to do something with loiters. Maybe 30 mins is good enough for non-​customers to just sit and leech off wifi, not 1 – 2 hours.
The barista that took my order didn’t give a pleasant welcome. She took my order as if she was rushing me and couldn’t wait for me to finish. I don’t remember her name but she was Asian with black hair. I couldn’t help but realize there was another Barista with the same name as me, so I was watching her. She was very fast and made drinks in less than a minute. Sadly she was doing cold drinks, so she didn’t make mine because mine was hot. I had a slow male barista.
Not much to say. I don’t recommend this Starbucks unless you really don’t have a choice.

Your average Starbucks. A little more space than normal. Sitting here now before an interview. Ample seating. Staff are efficient. The line moves quickly.
Would I return to this location? Yes.

This location can be packed since it’s one of the biggest Starbucks in the SoHo area. The staff provides great service.
If you’re looking for outlets, do look for seats lined up against the walls or the two wooden communal chair seating areas (close to the cash registers). If you find yourself sitting at the communal table in the back of the store, the outlets on the ground (under that table) don’t work as you won’t be able to plug your chargers in fully.
An updated for using outlets on the wall:
— Your charger may fall out, so look for a stool and use it to position your charger so it stays to charge.

Huge Starbucks with a lot of seating! There are always so many people working so they make your orders super fast.

As mentioned in many reviews, the costumer service is pitiful. First I waited in a moderately long line (not really their fault, I mean it’s in Soho) and when I reached the registers the employees looked confused as to who they were serving. I even stood directly in front of the register and the employee still said quite loudly, right in front of me, «following guest». But don’t worry it gets better.
I order two oatmeal cookies for my mom, who specifically asked me to go out and buy them and I bought a green tea latte for myself. They charge me, I pay, whatever.
Shortly after an employee starts shouting my name so I go fetch the cookies. He hands me two chocolate chip. Obviously I point it out, saying I ordered oatmeal. He looks at me blankly and says «well we don’t have any so I just got chocolate chip». What the hell? You couldn’t have told me that at the register before I paid? I then reject taking it, insisting that «I’m buying them for a friend» (my mom) and that she wouldn’t eat the chocolate chip. He then had the audacity to say the dumbest thing.
«Just take her to her and she can try it. If she doesn’t like it, bring it back.»
Wow he must be joking. As if I’m going to go home and then come back and tell him «ya she hated it.» What a joke.
Not to mention my green tea latte was basically milk with green powder stuck to the bottom. Yum!

One start is one to many stars to give this Starbucks. Avoid at all cost!!!
I give this Starbucks an award for worst customer service of the millennium.
Was accused of leaving the store and coming back asking for a refill when I was in the store the entire time. 10 – 15 minutes… 20 minutes tops! When asked to speak to a manger I was told I was speaking to the manager.
Thanks to the wonder customer service at this location I think I am throwing the towel at this corporation. I have been a Starbucks card member 10+… Probably 15+ years. Never have I fault so disgusted as a customer in my life. This store should be shut down due to incompetence.

I frequently visit Starbucks locations all over the city. This one is far from my favorite. I come here if I am too lazy to walk to either one on Broadway a few blocks away. The cashiers here are not consistently kind or inviting, however, the baristas mostly seem friendly enough.
I have no complaints about the drinks, they make them just fine.
The bathrooms are about the grossest thing I’ve ever experienced in a Starbucks. It smells as if I’ve walked onto the J train Chambers St platform after a pee party.
At least it’s conveniently located and the wifi’s good (and free as always).

Always very busy location, but staffs are all nice here.
