Here are some pros about this store:
* Dress or fabric for your dress, you decide!
* They were featured on «Say Yes to the Dress» on 8÷28÷15 — I think that speaks to the quality that this store offers.
* Unlike other stores that sell all sorts of fabrics for all sorts of clothing, this store is dedicated strictly to the bride, because the folks that run this store understands the importance of the bridal gown and its accessories.
* Speaking of accessories, they also carry these gorgeous tiaras and beautiful veils.
* Due to its reputation and quality of fabric, celebrities have shopped here — check their wall of fame to the left of the entrance when entering the store.
* The folks working here are very welcoming and warm. Unparalleled customer service that you simply do not get in any other fabric store.
* Now I’m not sure if he is a regular employee there, but there is a gentleman there named Carlos from the GG Couture New York Tailor Shop — he is an image adviser that sells tuxedos and suits. He seemed nice and professional, but I ended up not using him, as he is based out of the boroughs and it would be somewhat of a trek for me to reach him when needed.
Some cons:
It’s not really a con — more of a tip when considering this store. Don’t be fooled by the «$$» on this company’s listing as you do get what you pay for. If you want the best fabric for your dress or the best dress a bride can have, expect to pay a little more. You’re paying for quality of the fabric, the expertise that the employees provide, and the attention that they pay to you.
My mom-​in-​law and my wife purchased fabric here 4 months ago and made my wife’s wedding dress with that fabric! The dress came out stunning — seriously, the culmination of my mom-in-law’s career displayed for all too see, and we thank Sposabella for a big part in that! Photos to follow!

I can not say thank you enough to this nyc gem. I had no viel and a wedding dress that needed alterations 2 weeks before my wedding. They saved the day! My veil was perfect and my dress was altered to fit the larger me. Thank you so much for accommodating me!

A real New York gem — hidden in the heart of the Garment District. This is one of those places you just hope still exist, and then find they do! Fabrics and laces that will take your breath away, friendly staff and a real caring attitude make Sposabella a must destination when planning a wedding or any special occasion. I went there with my daughter, looking for a wedding veil. Frank and Alice truly care about making a bride happy, not just making a sale. Carlos is wonderful and not only will show you and help you choose the perfect piece for your hair, but you can count on him for an honest opinion of what works and what doesn’t. Their prices are super-​competitive and I could not find anything close to their quality anywhere else in NYC. I recommend you make an appointment (not hard to get, easy to book via phone) and then go in and find your dream veil for your dream day.

Sposabella is AMAZING! I had one of my wedding dresses (party dress) custom made and everyone there was super nice and accommodating. My dress was perfect! They have the most beautiful laces and really know how to make their customers happy! They day of my wedding I realized my bustier was missing and Irena came all the way to Throggs Neck to bring it to me! Peter was lifesaver as well as he worked closely side by side with me and my husband to coordinate our outfits! I had the best experience with Sposabella and would recommend anyone who is getting their dress made to go to them! The owners Alice and Frank were also very genuine and always made us feel like family:-) Josefina, thank you for making my dress fit me like a glove… it was absolutely perfect! Sposabella (beautiful bride) is the best!

This is by far the best lace fabric store in the whole are, i always come here and would recommend for anyone to come here hands down. the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have served people like Britney Spears and Merryl Streep. And they were also the only lace store to ever be featured on the Wall Street Journal.
