I stayed in a hotel that was only like a 2 minute walk from here so my boyfriend and I went a couple times. The pizza is SO good. The people that work there are nice and it is so cheap. If you are in the area it is a must have!(They also have gyros in the same building and my boyfriend said it was the best one he has ever had)

Accidentally went to Spinelli’s. A regrettable, hungry tourist mistake. Should’ve checked Unilocal first. As another Review said, just keep walking. Edible but nothing special at all. Spinach and Mushroom tasted like fluffy bread wiped on freshly cut grass and mushrooms after a morning rain.

Came here for a quick bite with a couple of friends last night. Touristy area with a touristy crowd. The pizza was average, but the upstairs seating was terrible. No windows, no air vent, and very humid. Better place for a grab-and-go.

I was attracted to this place on the way to Penn Station by the $ 2 pizza sign outside the front door. Hey, it’s NYC, so everyone knows how to make pizza, right? Surprisingly, that was right. This pizza would’ve definitely been above average in Virginia(where I’m from). You just don’t get that thin crispy crust in Virginia. Also, since the price was right, the pizza hadn’t been sitting around too long. But for NY, I’d give it 3 stars because the pizza was a little greasier and salty than I like. Also the customer service was pretty good — the guy was very friendly and accommodating about letting me use a credit card to charge $ 4.

Decent pizza. Nothing spectacular, but a decent slice before getting on the train back to Jersey. There are only a few tables downstairs, but plenty of seating upstairs. The gyros looked amazing, but I didn’t try one. maybe next time.

$ 2 for a slice of pizza that was pretty decent was worth it. $ 1.50 burgers not bad. It’s not NoMad, it be what it be. 2.5 stars.

Not bad for a $ 2 slice, though it’s not much better than the $ 1 slice on 32nd St. It’s one of these places across from Penn Station that acts like a net for the mad tourist traffic, so reviews are almost irrelevant.

Spinelli’s has the atmosphere of a place that your parents bring you to tell you they are getting a divorce. And by the way, it’s your fault. It’s not meant to be a 5 star restaurant, but even for a crappy/quick meal before a Knicks game, you will do better to keep walking.

Stopped in to Spinelli’s while visiting NYC and wanted a quick lunch while taking a break from shopping. Spinelli’s pizza was just what I was looking for: cheap, by the slice, and NY style. Yea, the place isn’t the cleanest, and seating isn’t plentiful, but you get what you pay for. At $ 2 a slice I was impressed that the pizza was even hot. Was it the greatest pizza I haver ever had? Not by a long shot, but it was tasty and I know I have paid three times as much for less flavorful pizza at other pizza joints over the years. I would stop in again if I was in the area.

I got a slice of pepperoni pizza and a soda. All the pizzas are just sitting on the counter. They just reheat your slice when you order. The pizza was super greasy. There was a lot of oil dripping off the pizza while I was trying to eat it. You don’t get free refills on soda. This place shares space with 2 other fast food restaurants. There is some seats on the ground floor and more seats on the second floor.

Perhaps the worst pizza in all of Manhattan. I gave this place a shot while waiting for a train, but would have had more satisfaction eating a piss-soaked rag off of the street.

Don’t let the look of this pizza fool you. It may look delicious, but it is one of the worst slices of pizza you will ever have. It lacks sauce, mozzerella cheese, and flavor in the crust. I don’t know about you, but those are the three main things I look for in pizza. It’s what makes pizza soooo good!!! I should have gone with my gut and went to the Sbarro two stores over.

I am eating Greek food from here right now and it is great. Big meal. Relatively healthy. Delicious half chicken is what I am eating. In a pan(at my hotel) with great Greek salad and a dolmade. Also fresh hot Pita. I am staying at a hotel nearby. There is so much great food in NY. I was not interested in the Pizza. There was a great variety, but just not what I want and I prefer a thinner crust. Oh, the beverages did not interest me. But I am just enjoying this Greek food so much. I am very happy.

New York pizza pie by the slice, the way it was meant to be. Big slices, different types of pies, decent enough seating, right next to Penn Station… what more do you want? I have no complaints.

Not good NY pizza. It’s not super expensive but not cheap either(it is in a touristy place though). Pizza was put in the oven but didn’t come out very warm. No free refills sign on the soda fountain machines… how cheap. Extra seating upstairs with a few tables downstairs in the back. Pizza was oily, not crispy and bad overall. I think even the chain Sbarro nearby is better and that’s pretty ehh already.

Just got off the bus from DC and was starving. Their pizza though not amazing is still cheap and decent so if you’re boltbussing it from the Capital to NYC this isn’t a bad first bite! The sauce was noticabely sweet for what it’s worth. I’m down with the sweetness but if that’s not your bag u should try one of the gyros. Some of the other folks were eating them and they looked bombbb

Meh. I was walking on 7th by Penn station and some dude says«Free Pizza» and Snapple. Great, methinks this is going to be a good day when I get a free lunch. The pizza was yucky, loved my free diet peach snapple. I will never return to this place again. Thanks Snapple!!!

I knew I wasn’t going to be getting an amazing meal in the area when across the street from this place there was a guy selling seats on a SATC tour, but this is where the bus came(or so we thought). I got supreme and it was decent. Nothing to write home about, but it filled me up and didn’t completely repulse me.
