Solo Event Space

The space itself is actually on the ground floor directly next to the MAIN ENTRANCE of the building. The location itself was hard to find even with Google maps as certain street in the Wall Street area have streets leading smack-​dab into ANOTHER BUILDING forcing you to reroute around the block. VERY ANNOYING.
Once you do enter you can pretty much see the entire space. It is not a grand ballroom mind you. But it is ample if they ever want to do a small lounge party sort of thing. I wouldn’t but it can be done. Tastefully.

I’ve never even heard of this location before. In fact, when you go to the address given on google or even the invitation I got, it’s not actually in THAT building, but a smaller entrance next to it.
My background is latin so, Solo Event Space to me really meant, Only Event Space, which in fact it was. There are no frills here. No outside lounge or waiting area, no sexy bathrooms with glam lighting or vanity mirrors. It is purely an event space. High ceiling, rectangular room with a stage in back. I was not impressed at first. I felt like I was in a hall and having been invited to a «black tie event» I just felt a little overdressed…
Then the magic happened. More people started to trickle in, the lights dimmed to showcase the beautiful celiing architecture with sexy lighting and boom… it became what it was meant to be. A place where 30 somethings and under mingled, drank, danced and laughed all while feeling fabulous and very city sexy. The music carrries very well here (except for any live music being perfomed with no mike…) the temperature is almost perfect and the bar section that can be set up in the back of the room provides just enough libation ot keep everyone smiling.
I’d be certainly interested to see another type of event hosted in this space and welcome any invitations.

First off, I wanted to be the first one to review it :(. When i checked in to here the other day I saw that it had no reviews. I was so psyched to be the first one to do so. Moving forward, I really like the space. My friend and I agreed that this place would be perfect to throw a huge scale party. The location is perfect. I like the fact that its in the wall street area but from the outside of the its like hidden so know one who isnt invited to the party would know a banging party is happening inside. I also like the fact that you can tailor things like the light and the layout of the space according to your liking! Which is something i like! Would definitely go to this place again and not confuse it for the SoHo Event space and dress like a SoHo BoHo when going there!

Good space, but I’m not a big fan of long queues, mostly when the photographer could be helping the organizers instead of patronizing event guests.
