Soft and Natural Permanent Makeup

Where to start.. . First and foremost, Ashley is AMAZING at what she does. She is incredibly skilled and a kind person to boot; truly a pleasure to spend an hour with. She’s got a light hand that makes this uncomfortable procedure breeze by without so much as a wince.
I, like many others, was a pure terror to my eyebrows.. . Over plucking? Yep! Lazy shaving? Yep! Horrible attacks with manicure scissors? Sure thing! That all coupled with being a natural blonde left them looking like the saddest excuse for eyebrows you’d ever see.
Despite loving makeup application, the most frustrating thing for me was trying to get something even resembling two even eyebrows on my face. When I did manage, I’d end up accidentally wiping them off mid-​day and generally would walk aroud 99% of the time without them.
I have been thinking about this for some time, however it being my face I was terrified of a horrible experience that would leave me worse off than simply having my current mess. I finally decided after seeing a picture of myself something had to be done immediately.
I poked around and stumbled on Ashley’s reviews. There were not as many as the other providers listed, but all of hers were 5 stars and a woman with blonde hair made mention of how good hers looked. I was sold!
I called, booked, and OH. MY. GOD. I am SO happy I did!
If you have any hesitation about following through with this for whatever reason, I hope this puts your nerves at ease.
I’m only on day one and to be honest, they look quite frightening at the moment due to their darkness. Of course this is to be expected until day 2 – 3, yet even with them being so bold, the color and shape could not be more perfect.
My only regret is not having before pictures to share. I know I am a fanatic about studying before and after shots, so I wish I’d have been thinking. I did find a pic of me taken a few days before to give a general idea and I will update next week when the color fades.

Ashley did a great job with my eyeliner. I was looking for something subtle, more like a lash enhancement rather than full on eyeliner and I feel like that is what she achieved. The process was a little painful for me, but the recovery was easy and Ashley checked up on me via email and answered all of my questions quickly. Scheduling was a breeze and the location was clean and convenient. If I ever decide to do more permanent makeup, I will not hesitate to contact Ashley!

Ashley’s work redefines the term «on fleek.» I was nervous about getting those weird Joan Crawford-​half-​way-​up-​your-​forehead look, but Ashley did a beautiful job. The color was a little intense for the first week, but it’s calmed down and my brows look great. Ashley is an ARTIST. Strong brows, strong woman.

Ashley did exactly what I wanted, was amazingly kind and I’m so happy. The only thing I regret was not doing this sooner. I don’t understand why more women don’t do this. I guess it sounds kind of scary (face tattoos!?), but it’s literally changed my life. I can go to spin class, wake up in the morning and even not wear make-​up sometimes because I had this done.
I had 3d hair-​stroke brows done in LA, and they didn’t even compare to what Ashley can do. First off, she doesn’t use a gun so it is virtually painless. The whole process took about an hour. The first few days I have to admit I was a bit afraid of the color being so dark, but after day four I was obsessed. Whatever you do, don’t rub/​peel/​pick them.
Just a note… if I did it again, I’d wait a few days until I had to go to anything special since your brows do look really dark until 3 – 4 days in. I just invested in some cool big glasses to hide them. :)

Ashley is amazing!!! I wish I had known about her years ago. Having my eyebrows done has been a life changing experience. They look so natural and so goid, I get compliments all the time. I never have to worry about ‘doing’ my eyebrows when I’m grtting ready. I am really looking forward to the summer when I can be on the beach without any makeup and still look great. I highly recommend her to anyone that spends a minute or more a day ‘doing’ their eyebrows. It will change your life. Thank you Ashley for being sweet, helpful, and so good at what you do!

Ashley is fantastic. She really listened, and my brows came out exactly like I wanted them — natural but fuller, with matte finish. If you have doubts about whether this is for you, don’t worry. Ashley did mine in two sessions, to give me time to decide if I wanted a deeper look.
Permanent brows are huge look booster and time saver for ACTIVE women who would otherwise swim off or sweat off brow pencils. You can leave the gym with a dash of lip gloss and look feminine. Ashley is the best!

Ashley did *amazing* work on my eyes, eyebrows and lips! I could not be happier with them!
EYEBROWS: I have very sparse eyebrows so many years ago I decided to have them tattooed on. The tattoos were NOT done by Ashley and they were done with a standard tattoo gun/​needle. I was pretty happy with my eyebrows when I first got them, although they wore off fairly quickly and unevenly. They never really had the «natural look». They didn’t look tattooed, but they did look penciled.
In July 2013 I found Ashley and WOW, she is AMAZING! She spent enough time with me to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted. She numbed my brows and painted on a line with a mixture of colors that wouldn’t fade into the reddish-​brown color the previous tattoo (she mixed the perfect color for my skin).
Instead of using a gun, she worked with a tiny brush with metal bristles and used tiny strokes to make a soft and natural brow look. The whole process took a little over an hour. I probably could have gone out in public afterwards although my eyebrows were pretty dark and a little red. Within a day or two, they were healed enough to look good and by a week they were gorgeous! So beautifully shaped and naturally colored! I am now rockin’ the eyebrows I’ve always wanted! The best part is that I don’t have to spend any time penciling them in anymore and I never have to worry I am going to rub them off by accident :)
LIPS: About a year later I decided that I would get lipliner done, too. I have some slightly blue-​ish veins on the edges of my lips, so Ashley suggested to add a little orange to the color. At first I cringed — orange is a terrible color for me. But I TRUST HER COMPLETELY so I said ok even though I was still very nervous on the inside. For a few days, I looked a bit clownish. There’s no getting around that. But WOW when the color faded it looked so soft, natural and beautiful! A few months later I got the rest of my lips filled in (we altered the color slightly because the «meat» of my lips don’t have the blueish color). It still looks completely natural and now I never wear anything but clear gloss on my lips now. They just always look healthy and young! (I’m 44).
EYES: My eyelashes are very sparse, too, so when I got up the nerve, I asked Ashley to do some work on my eyes. She suggested an eyelash enhancement since I was clearly hesitant about going «full on» with eyeliner. Over the course of three sessions she did an eyelash enhancement on my top lid which was so subtle yet made a huge difference! She then did an eyelash enhancement on my bottom lid — also very subtle but strangely impactful, and then I finally got up the nerve to get thin eyeliner on the top lid. Just a little bit of pigment adds so much to my face. It’s really amazing! And still so natural.
BOTTOM LINE: I wish I didn’t wait so long to do this. I don’t wake up in the morning looking like I have makeup on, I wake up looking alive and refreshed. I never look like I’m wearing makeup — that’s Ashley’s magic!
When I consider how much money I’ve given to Sephora over the years, this is a total bargain! ASHLEY IS A MASTER OF HER ART and she will make you more beautiful!!! If you have any apprehension about permanent makeup, get over it and go see her. You’ll be really happy you did!
Because I didn’t want to advertise that my natural looking eyebrows (and lips and eyes) aren’t actually natural, I opened a separate Unilocal account just for this review. (That’s how much I love Ashley!) I wanted to make sure anyone considering permanent makeup strongly considers Ashley. She really knows what she’s doing — a consummate professional! (And a lovely human being in every other way :)

I had my eyebrows done by Ashley last moth. She is prompt and professional.
She takes the time to sit with you and discuss what your expectations are for your new brows. The pigments she uses are natural looking on all skin tones and will fade well with time so you are not left with that awful rust red color on your eyebrows.
The procedure was painless and fast I was in and done in under two hours. I love my eyebrows I’ve gotten so many compliments on them. I’m going for my touch up this month. I no longer need to pencil my eye brows and its great. I worthwhile investment in your beauty routine.

I love the work Ashley did on my eyebrows! Before the procedure, I had little to no eyebrows; people thought I was sick without applying pencil to my eyebrows. After, I left with a natural and full brow. The procedure was painless and fairly quick. I also went for the touch up session a month later because I did have some peeling, which is common for any tattooing– and it was well worth it. After the touch up appointment, my eyebrows held perfectly and I don’t have to pencil them at all.
Ashley is so sweet & great at what she does! She made feel so comfortable and shaped my brows just the way I wanted them, which compliment my face perfectly. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that wants permanent makeup.

Can I give it like 10 stars? One of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I wanted super natural looking eyebrows with a shape — not to be confused with the clown look I’ve seen on the street. After years of being upset with my sparse and thin-​looking eyebrows, I did some research and finally found Ashley and I’m beyond thrilled with the results! She was super nice, very helpful, shaped my eyebrows nicely, picked the right color and walked me through the whole process at every moment and calmed my every nerve. I’m so happy I found her and that I got the results I wanted — normal shaped natural looking eyebrows that frame my face! Finally! thank you Ashley!

Sooooo happy I did this! I had light, sparse eyebrows that I penciled every morning and felt self-​conscious without makeup (very washed out). Ashley (who is lovely) worked with me to get a shape and color that I felt great about, and set to work. The whole procedure was painless and relaxing.
I was pretty nervous before I went (a face tattoo? Really???) but I’m so happy I took a chance. It’s important to me that makeup look natural, soft and feminine, and my new brows fit the bill. It simply looks like I have fuller, darker eyebrows, that perfectly frame my face.
The second she saw me the next morning, my coworker booked an appointment.
