If they deserve anything, it’s probably half star for its convenient location. Otherwise, this place is just dismal at its best. Here’s why.
1. Layout is confusing. They keep re-​arranging the brand sections so never know where things are. They also make the aisles look very tight and narrow.
2. Inventory is always limited. They never seem to have full stock on certain items.
3. Staff are very good at being aloof and rude. Not sure if this stems from their management team but the staff here always seem to be in a pissy mood; especially the girl with the blue lipstick and nose piercing. Security guard looks at everyone from head to toe as if they are about to steal something.
4. Checkout line is always slow. It’s always one or two people working at the cash register while there are 20 customers deep in line.
With their continuously expanding product lines they offer, they should reconsider shuttering this location, re-​train their staff, and open at a bigger location.

I can here when it was drizzling a bit outside, yet it wasn’t that busy. There’s a noticeable lack of representatives compared to the Soho branch, in addition to that the staff here are a bit… well, I would recommend going to the Soho branch even though it would be more crowded.
The layout of the store is great and so is the amount of space near the huge makeup mirrors but the representatives are not as helpful and won’t bother to explain most of the process if you’re a makeup newbie.

I find it personally disgusting that the «test me» products are oily and look as if they’ve been there for a couple of months. That’s just unhygienic and unsanitary. Also, the staff seemed to be oblivious of the younger customers who entered the shop. Their main focus was on the older and wealthier customers. Customer service was not up to par here. Go to the prince street sephora.

Great customer service here. Asked for a sample to try some cologne and wasn’t given the third degree. Gotta love it! Very surprising given it is in a high traffic high tourist area. Keep it up!!!

It’s generally filled with tourists and the aisles are cramped. I mean they are tiny. I’m not that big and I feel like a bull in a china shop when I walk through here.
However, they always have the cologne I use in stock. The staff are friendly and efficient so I can go in here, get my Acqua Di Gio and be out the door in just a few minutes.
For the products I need with a quick in/​out, I grant this Sephora four stars.

This particular Sephora is pretty hectic franchise, as it’s situated in one of Manhattan’s busiest streets. While it’s never elbow-​bumping crowded or overwhelming, it is difficult to get help from staff if you need it because they are usually serving other customers.
That said, it is still a joy and a pleasure to visit Sephora because it’s an oasis! The store is pretty large, and carries basically any and all bath and beauty products you would ever need in life and probably more…
This store is ultra convenient for us beauty-​conscious suburbanites, as it’s near GCT. You can dip in, stock up on your Urban Decay products *and* catch your train on time… woot! *\o/*

I like this Sephora. It’s near my job (practically across the street from GCS), so it’s where I get most of my products.
If you go when it’s not crazy (i.e., not lunchtime), the gals are usually eager and happy to help you pick out what you need or want.
I wish they gave away more freebies like other Sephoras I go to, but it’s a pretty good Sephora for products and service.

I’m always in this place. I can always find something to buy here. I like shopping here because if you don’t like a product, even after you’ve used it, you can still return it for a refund. And I am the «Queen» of returns! lol
Also, if you’re going out, you can stop by here and freshen up your face before you move on. I’ve seen it done on Friday evenings and was LOL! Hey’ they’re not losing money because, although you can just use their samples to get a fresh face, you’re more than likely gonna end up buying something eventually. It’s a «win win» situation for all!
