Senton Hotel

This hotel should be a motel due to the lack of upkeep in the rooms. It’s $ 140 for overnight and the availability of rooms is on a first come, first served basis. Unlike most hotels, staff here won’t let you reserve a room ahead of time with a debit/​credit card. The most they’ll do is take your name and ask what day they should be expecting you. They make it seem like check in is strictly at 12 pm but there’s clearly a sign that states differently in the lobby. In fact, the sign states that they have check ins as early as 7 am!!! I don’t know if that’s an old sign that they just failed to take down but it’s very misleading. However, I will say that the guy who checked us in was very friendly and made me feel at ease immediately. As for the room, there were cracks in the ceiling and the walls were extremely dirty. The walls were decorated with art, huge pieces. I guess that’s to hide a hole or some type of damage. (Tee hee hee). There’s an actual full sized refrigerator in this hotel, not a mini fridge like most places, and also a microwave. The microwave wasn’t plugged in already, so I had the honor of getting in some stretching while doing so myself. The 2 chairs in the room had stains in them and so did the mattress. Can you say YUCK? Furthermore, I refused to get underneath the blanket because I saw a stain on the sheet. I chose to lay on top of the blanket, wrapping it around me instead. The room is very spacious and has the feel of a studio apartment. Unfortunately, the toilet flushed weak but with all the problems this place has, I was grateful just because it worked. The water from the sink didn’t get hot right away, but the water from the tub did. The tub was dirty and I wish there was some type of cleaner available because I would’ve cleaned it myself. There were no wash cloths, only towels to use. Pardon me but this isn’t the caveman era!!! Yes, I like to wash with woven material so that the soap will lather me up instead of using my frigging hand!!! There are approximately only 15– 25 channels provided, 2 porn channels included. I was looking for somewhere to charge my phone and found outlets near the bed. I was shocked and appalled to also come across a used condom!!! (See pictures for proof)
