RUN FOR THE HILLS!!! I couldn’t agree more with the reviewer who said she had a painful pap … I did as well. If I had excruciating pain why didn’t she just remove the speculum and use a long cotton swab instead??? This doctor is cold and lacks empathy (an understatement). These are not characteristics one desires from an OBGYN. Shame on you, Dr. Schwab, you’re a woman and should know better! Fast forward … I found a compassionate, competent, and caring doctor who is gentle.

While my appointment was at 9, i didn’t see the doctor until 9:30, so that was annoying. Especially because I make appointments in the morning in order to avoid backup.
I am also very surprised by the first review. I actually thought to myself how quick and painless the pap was. I mean it’s always going to be uncomfortable, but it was in no way painful.
I do have to say though that I felt a little uncomfortable that the nurse was in the room during my exam. The rooms were very small & thus the extra person made it very cramped. It also made me feel a little uncomfortable bringing up any questions or issued I had.
I have cancer in my family and I thought she was very thorough on her questions and assessment of the situation and my personal plan.
My only real complaint was about her demenour. While she didn’t make me feel uncomfortable, she didn’t make me feel comfortable either.

I’m surprised at the last review. I came early filled out paper work and got called right away. The brought me to small room a little cramped but it was nice that the bathroom was connected. Dr. Schwab came in promptly and we talked about my history. She was very pleasant and the examine was painless as it can get (a pap smear is always uncomfortable, just one of the joys of being a woman.). After the examine she was sure to give me further reading on family history screening since cancer runs in my family. Her staff there are friendly as well especially the woman in billing. I would definitely recommend her.

ONE ORDER OF REALLY PAINFUL PAP SMEAR PLEASE~
I had to give one star because there is nothing lower. Worst gynecological exam I had in my entire life! Getting a pap smear was like giving birth. I was traumatized!!! Do not go to this OB/​GYN or you will be scarred for life.
Note to doctor: Change your career, don’t take it out on your innocent patients.
