School For Strings

This is an incredible school to start children at a very young age when they are as capable of learning a musical instrument, as they are of learning any of the languages on the planet. The approach to getting started requires a tremendous commitment on the part of the parents, and one of the parents will become the home-​school-​type teacher. The school offers a large amount of support but firmly requires the involved parent to first take lessons on the chosen instrument in addition to attending other classes — 4 in all. It’s a fantastic school run by top-​notch musicians but the fit will only be natural and right if one parent has the interest, time, and motivation to make this all happen.
