First off this place is not really a store that being said its a bargain for really really beat up shoes your want to fix. He dose a good enough jobs for simple sole replacement. I will not trust him with light color shoes since his hands are quite dirty and the place is a bit of a mess.

Looking for 220 Grand? You’ll find it, but you won’t see nary a shoe repair shop in sight. I asked the nice men in the neighboring shop where I might find Sam & Sally and they pointed me around the corner on Elizabeth st. Little did I know all I would have to do was turn the corner and there they would be, fixing shoes amid piles of bags and boxes right on the street. It looks like a bit of a budget operation, and I have to admit I was a little hesitant to give over a pair of beloved loafers to them, but my fearless partner-in-crime encouraged me to give it a try(and we didn’t have much choice, once Sam started working on the shoe straight away before we could get a quote on the price). The work is definitely fast and a little loose, but I came away with the sole of my Bass Weejuns back in place and my wallet only $ 6 lighter.

Highly recommend. Cheap price and great work. Price is as low as only 1⁄5 of the price of some other shops. Small shop along the street.

Excellent shoe repair on Elizabeth and grand st that according to their business card has been here for 28 years! For $ 26 the replaced the zipper on a pair of my boots, replaced both heals and gave em a nice shine. They’re very fast, next day or same day around. Highly recommended!
