Royal Gems Corp : Gold & Jewelry Buyers NYC

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from Royal Gems during our vacation cruise in St. Kitts. After his purchase, one of the small diamonds fell off the ring for no apparent reason. It took months to reach this business and get the repair done. It was nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone and the sales person from this store actually referred us to another store in California. After this fiasco, we needed the ring to be resized. It took just one month to get in touch with anyone in the store that could provide information on whether they could resize the ring or not. When we finally got a hold of someone, we were once again referred to another store in New York. We we got a hold of someone in this New York store, they were even questioning if the ring was from the right store. What a disaster! Finally, we were told the re-​sizing would be covered under the warranty of the ring. We mail the ring to the NY store. It takes another week to reach someone that can confirm the ring has been received (we sent it return receipt and insured but wanted to make sure the ring was being worked on). After 2 weeks, we get a call telling us the ring cannot be resized!!! We are told that the ring would be mailed and then we are told the ring did not go out in the mail as planned. After 3 weeks of this nonsense, we finally get the ring. I have to words for these people incompetent and unprofessional. I have never had to deal with such a crappy business!
