Well, I’m happy to be the first then. Charles Douglas did my makeup for my wedding including both mothers and my step sister. Lets just say he is worth every single dime spent! I mean that with all my heart. I wanted to look like someone who just stepped out of a Magazine and I looked like it! So did my Mom and new Mother-​in-​law. It was pricey but if your going to drop bank 60K on a wedding and skimp on details so important like Makeup why even bother with a wedding???
This man is talented and so amazing! My only critique is I wish we talked the week of the wedding so I knew for sure that he needed a room at the venue. It wasn’t a big deal b/​c we had a room for him it was just a lil hassle and stressful (no phone reception at Gurneys where we were married) so trying to arrange everything last min was difficult. But that has nothing to do with his work. The first thing my husband to be said to me (and I’m not even kidding) when we met at the altar was: Your Makeup looks amazing and he took my hand and held it tight. :D I swear I’m not even kidding!
Hire these ppl to do your Makeup if you want the best that NY has to offer. I’m going to hire Charles again when we renew our vows :) and I’m looking forward to it :)
