Absolutely phenomenal food, atmosphere and staff! On our recent trip to New York, my wife, daughter and I stopped in for an evening meal at Rosie O’Grady’s prior to attending a Broadway Show. Our experience here was tremendous! I felt very valued as an individual and will definitely be a repeat customer the next time I find myself in The Big Apple. My wife has Celiac Disease and the gluten free menu was amazing and completely free of cross contamination. My hat is off to the staff of Rosie O’Grady’s!

MEDIOCREFOOD … BADSERVICE!!! this place deserves 2 stars but the waiter that took over for our previous who went on a break makes it 3 stars ordered corned beef sandwich, caesar salad, and onion rings once seated we had the misfortune of having a horrible waitress … did not smile or show any professionalism… seemed annoyed she had to wait on us … she actually was pretty stuck up and a snob … never checked on us other than to tell us she was going on break and another waiter would be taking over(thank goodness) … he was pleasant, very nice, and attentive … checked on us frequently and always coming over to pour out our bottled water into our glasses(nice touch) … super nice guy … too bad he has a crappy coworker corned beef sandwich: DRYMEAT … what a disappointment… no juice … just dried out corned beef that we had to smother in mustard to make decent caesar salad: nothing special at all … lettuce was not crisp and seemed it was pre-made and sitting in dressing too long … the best part was the avocado i added onion rings: ok now these were decent… my husband enjoyed these for the price we paid the food should’ve been MUCH better … couple that w the attitude of our waitress and you get the 2 stars… again our 2nd waiter that came in after is the only reason i’m giving 3 stars avoid this overpriced place and find another spot

My wife and I had dinner tonight at the end of our vacation. This was the perfect ending to a wonderful trip. Food was great and the service was good. I would recommend this restaurant to all who come to NYC.

I’m a «tourist» so maybe that’s why I don’t see anything great about this place. I came here Monday night around 10:30pm. I wanted to have a drink while waiting for my husband to meet me around 11:30. All the seats and tables at the bar were full which is a sign of a good bar, right? I stood there, alone, waiting for a bartender to take my order. Eventually a table opened up and I grabbed it. I sat at that table which had about 6 empty glasses on it from the people who just left. No one came to clean it for a good 10 minutes. And when they did, there was no acknowledgement to me at all. I was actually hoping to get a food menu. Soon my husband arrived and he sat with me. We waited and waited. I guess there’s no table service. He ordered his beer and asked for a food menu. Kitchen closes at 12. Aw man. Call me crazy but I thought NYC was a place where you can get anything you want anytime. Not if its a steak at midnight — can’t have that. Also maybe if someone gave me a menu when I arrived at 1030 I could have ordered us some food. My biggest gripe with this place is that the service was poor. Or should I say no existent. Don’t go here if you want a good time or party atmosphere.

Needed a place to go and warm up after the Tartan Week parade this past Saturday. Yeah a tourist trap but we had near frost bite. Ordered from lunch menus, house soup was cream of mushroom. The soul was $ 7.95 and loaded with shrooms, nice flavor and consistently and served hot! Also had the open steak sandwich. 4 slices of London broil on two tiny banquettes served with their house BBQ sauce and steak fries. $ 18.95! Did I mention only 4 slices of London broil? Meat was however cooked just as ordered and the sauce was good with it. 2 beers and a shot $ 57 with tip for one. Service was a bit slow .At least the food was good !

Short wait time as promised. Food was cooked properly and the staff was exceptionally nice. Nice atmosphere with a pub downstairs.

Props for being open during the Blizzard of 2016, little late review but I want to say being across from our hotel the Sheraton this place was pumping out delicious food, great service, and an amazing view while the streets were shut down. It was jam packed, we got right in and got seated and water served. No gluten-free menu that I knew of but he told me about the Salmon with potatoes and easily got that since it sounded good at the time and it was an excellent choice. Family all enjoyed their grub and had a great time, the coffee was fresh, and the food was quality. Also tried some of the chicken dish which was full of flavor and very good, go check it out.

For some odd reason, my colleagues LOVE coming here, it is the only place that we dine in for a team lunch. We always order the same dish– deemed«the best dish”– and that is the steak sandwich. Honestly, the steaks always come a bit too dry for my liking, even if I ordered medium rare. The waiter was quite nice and service kind of varies. The first time we came, the food took a little bit short of forever to come, and when it did come, one of the orders got messed up(a lettuce salad– okay, a plain cesar salad– instead of the salmon salad was ordered… that’s right, a plate of lettuce with some croutons, delicious). This time around, the food came a bit faster, but the whole thing was meh to me.

Came here due to a RSVP accident and turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Very diverse crowd of people were inside which gives the place a mixed atmosphere. A lot of tourists(as myself) were wearing jeans, shorts, t shirts, and casual sweaters. While some were wearing their shirt/ties and dresses after office hours. My friend got a steak from here and from the smell I can tell this location is defiantly one of the best around. However, it’s on the higher end of $ which is understandable being that this location is right next to Times Square. We luckily just showed up and got searing for 6 off the bat without and sort of RSVP here. Luck? I have no clue but with the amount of people I’d definitely ring ahead. P. S. If you track macros or calories try to stick to the single ingredient items e.g. Steak, potato, salad, etc. because it’s hard to tell calories from some of their items. Regardless, majority of items here seem to be very kcal friendly.

A-OK is exactly how I’d rate Rosie O’Grady’s. Came in alone for a late night dinner, 10:30PM on a Tuesday night(on a business trip, just got out of a show). It’s hard for me to resist an Irish put! The host — I believe his name was Oscar — was very friendly. Server wasn’t around much, but enough to get the job done. Didn’t offer me bread until my food was coming out(I didn’t want it anyway). I ordered the pork chops, which were fine, nothing to write home about. I had regular broccoli instead of the broccoli rabe it comes with, and it was less than stellar(which is a bummer, I LOVE broccoli). The sweet potato was also«ok.» Manager stopped by to ask how I was doing during the meal as well. So — not a bad experience, but also nothing particularly extraordinary.

Great food and a great atmosphere! I had the sirloin and it was flavorful and delicious. The french onion soup was also the perfect item on a cold winter night in New York!

While in New York recently, my husband and I stopped here for lunch. This place was conveniently located right across the street from our hotel. It was not crowded at all when we arrived, so we were able to be seated right away. Our server was very nice and attentive. Rosie’s offers a wide variety of options to choose from. The menus vary, depending on whether you’re coming in for lunch or dinner. For my meal, I had the omelette with the smoked salmon option. It was very tasty. The amount of smoked salmon was very generous. My husband had the Rosie O’Grady’s burger. The burger itself was rather big, and included fries. Rosie’s also has a full bar and a nice beverage selection. I was able to enjoy an Original Sin cider while here. I must add: the music selection was a real treat to listen to. Any place that plays Pink Floyd is a winner in my book. The prices here are pretty reasonable, by New York standards. The next time we are in town, we will make a point to stop here again.

Went here for lunch, after checking out of our hotel. The prices were amazingly low for Midtown Manhattan. A burger w/fries for $ 13. I added cheese and bacon for a small fee. The burger was ginormous, I didn’t finish it. So for this and the great service I was convinced they deserve a 5 star rating from me.

Cute pub that I came to for a reception prior to the nyc marathon, as well as drinks after work one day. The bar was very crowded both times I’ve been here. Getting a drink has proven to be quite difficult, but eventually after a lot of patience, one is able to grab a drink. Which, tasted a little watered down, but at least the price wasn’t outrageous. Walking through the bar and upstairs to their large room was where i spent most of my time when I came for a reception for the marathon. The place was actually beautiful inside. There are large window views overlooking the city. The food was actually quite good, we had a pre selected buffet of a mix of salad, cheese and meat, pasta, and desserts. I think I tried one of everything, and it was delicious. Kudos to the catering from this place. And even though the bar is right downstairs, not even once could you hear the ruckus going on, that’s how quiet it was. Definitely recommend this place for an event.

We went here late in the evening. Still there was a pretty full house. There are lot of tourists that dine here. The food was okay. The portions were small. Everything was alacarte and my entrée was like an appetizer. The service was good but I was not impressed by this restaurant as it was very expensive for what we had

I didn’t care for Rosie O’Gradys. The Shepard’s Pie was dry. The Corned Beef Sandwich was dry, and the Steak Sandwich was tough and chewy.

Latest visit much like the previous ones. Slow service. Pretty expensive: almost $ 40 before tip for a salad, fish & chips, and one beer. At least this time the table was clean – no crumbs on the table when I sat down. Salad was excellent with house made blue cheese dressing. The fish in the fish n chips were good but not as good as last time. It didn’t seem as fresh. The chips were so-so. Rather greasy. Usual sides of malt vinegar and ketchup but the tartar source was very ugood. Nice selection of draft beer, including two IPAs. A good spot for lunch in the Theater District if you aren’t rushing to catch a matinée. A lot of the experience is luck of the draw and depends on who you get as a sever. When I went back a second time for lunch, there were crumbs on the table yet again but the server was very nice and attentive. The shepherds pie is very good and the portion size is enormous. After several quick visits while staying at the Sheraton across the street, I would say that lunch is hit and miss. However, regardless of the service in the restaurant, the bar is a good spot for a fast beer.

Los platos son amplios así que pidiendo un plato para cada dos comensales es suficiente.
