Terrible Doctor. Very uncaring and disinterested. Went to see her since my regular MD at the practice was out. After explaining my symptoms and a quick exam, she ordered an ultrasound. She seemed bothered by my questions and her responses were curt. Long story short, her diagnosis was incorrect as I later found out after seeing another MD. Apparently as a «Gastroenterologist», she doesn’t seem to know about any other medical conditions other than stomach issues(although she attended Medical School and studied the human body as a WHOLE). Find another Doctor and save yourself a headache. Interestingly she«appears» so charming and knowledgeable on TV!

Wow, I’ve been to many doctors for various issues and Dr. Raj easily falls in the bottom few. Her staff falls even below that. I saw her for unknown bloating issues and she recommended a colonoscopy/endoscopy. I got one scheduled the upcoming Tues(Monday was a holiday and the office was closed). She didn’t tell me anything about it except«our office will contact you regarding prep and procedure.» Around 330 that Friday I get a call from one of her staff literally rushing to tell me how to prep because it was a holiday weekend and she really wanted to leave the office. She told me to just follow directions on the prep list that they gave me in the office – turns out the staff forgot to give me one. Great… I was in a car full of people and couldn’t really talk and had no pen to write anything down with, and rather than maybe calling me back, she just told me to listen and remember what she said. She spewed out over 20 do’s and don’t. again, no pen. and this lady was in a rush. I also couldnt answer some very private questions b/c I was in car with people, and she was very insensitive to it. There’s so much more I can write about her horrible staff but I’ll stop there. Back to Dr Raj. After my test results came, she emailed me with«you have a h. pylori and I will call meds to your pharmacy.» ZERO explanation of what the hell h. pylori is, what the infection does, should I be worried, how long will it take to go away, was this the cause of my bloating etc. NOTHING! I responded with well does this explain my bloating? Also do I have gastris?(as we’d discussed in her office on my first visit) She replies back with«yes», again not explaining anything. My next email, «well since I have gastritis, anything I should avoid eating? Acidic foods, alcohol? He response, «yes, those will probably make your symptoms worse. I’d avoid alcohol and citrus.» I mean did I really need to email my doctor numerous times to get this type of info? Could she not have explained what to do and what foods to avoid in her first email telling me what was wrong with me? Is that asking for too much? Also I had a reaction to the meds she prescribed and emailed her 3 times and contacted her office twice to talk to a nurse. It took her 3 days to get back to me. Again, there’s a lot more but I think you get the gist. She’s awful. Stay away.
