Bought a last minute bouquets from Roses and Blooms for a client. I was so thankful they were able to accommodate my order on such short notice(less than an hour), and overall, it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and informative, the flowers were done quickly. I had bought two bouquets, and they were packaged in a way that was easy for me to carry(i picked them up personally). My only complaint is that the flowers seemed a little less than fresh. Some petals were a bit dry and flakey, or slightly discolored, but overall it wasn’t all that noticeable. I was still overall pleased with the presentation!

I stopped in to order a classic rose bouquet to present to our dance teacher after a performance that same night. We wanted something special, and the bouquet they made for us was perfect. John suggested having some water tubes for each flower, which I never would have thought to ask for, and this was very practical since the event and after party took quite a while. Checked out the place initially because it was conveniently located for our event – and we were very happy!

Creative, unique, and highest quality florist in New York. John and his team go out of their way to deliver gorgeous well designed modern and traditional arrangements that inspire awe and lots of «where did you get these amazing flowers».

Wonderful selection of fresh flowers, both standard and exotic varieties. Classy bouquets already created and ready for pickup — both from buckets and in vases of all kinds. No pompous attitudes here, either. It’s cool for customers to select a stem of this and a bunch of that for the staff to arrange. I’ve lived in midtown for years and passed by this shop while grabbing a subway at the base of Citi Center. Glad I finally stopped in for a bouquet here.

This is my favorite flower shop. Great selection! They let you pick out the flowers individually yourself so you can see how things look and what you like. This is rare. Most flower shops don’t let customers literally pick and hold and assemble their bouquets themselves.

My go to flower shop for any time I need to pick up an arrangement myself. The flowers are high quality and beautifully arranged. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. I always recommend them to co-workers. They are pricey, but you get quality flowers that last a long time.

I don’t write reviews too often, but I wanted to thank Roses and Blooms for saving Mother’s Day this year for me and my mom. I had ordered a bouquet from FTD on Monday, and short story the order was all messed up(completely not what I ordered), and while I was trying to resolve it with FTD, they got my mom involved, and she got worried about it… the bouquet she had received seemed tainted in some way after all that. I needed to fix it for her while FTD worked on fixing it for me. So yesterday I went to Roses and Blooms, across the street from where I work. To begin with, everything in the shop looked and smelled fresh. The man I spoke to, John, was really nice and understanding as I explained that I had just had a bad experience with FTD, and that this had to be an exceptional Mother’s Day bouquet. I picked out the flowers I wanted, and we discussed arrangements and vases. They had peonies(Mom’s favorite!), and lilacs, roses… I asked for some hypericum and Sarah Bernhardt, and for them to use their discretion in what color roses to use. I grabbed some lilacs for myself(still enjoying the amazing smell), which John packaged up for me, I paid, and waited to see Mom’s reaction when she got this bouquet. Mom just sent me a text of the flowers, and we are both extremely pleased. There are plentiful peonies, lilacs, and roses, just a few hypericum and Sarah Bernhardt for accent(not to cover up for lack of the good stuff, like in the last bouquet), and they looped these large green leaves along the inside of the vase. The arrangement is just gorgeous. I would myself be overjoyed to receive this bouquet, and even prouder that I was able to get this for my mom for Mother’s Day. I feel the wrong is righted. At least for Mom. Now to get back on the phone with FTD and explain to them what a REAL florist can do! Thanks, Roses and Blooms!

There are many flowers to choose from and that is very important. The prices are not bad neither, especially they are located in midtown manhattan. if you are looking to find that unique gift for the other half, come here.

This is definitely my go-to florist in Midtown. I will say that their selection is fairly hit-or-miss, but that’s pretty much the case with all florists in this area. I’ve been here many many times and they always seem to have employees there putting together arrangements for orders that have already been placed, so I imagine if you called ahead and ordered something in advance, you’d get the best of the best. However, I’ve only been here for the more typical floral needs of «I’m on my way somewhere and want to bring flowers» kinda deal. Service here is always top-notch. The man who’s usually at the cashier is always super-friendly and very willing to answer any questions you have about the flowers you’re picking out. He’s also great when it comes to wrapping everything together and creating a nice presentation. Again, the selection is a bit hit-or-miss. I first discovered Roses and Blooms in the Spring and was blown away by their fantastic selection. However, as expected, I suppose, with the change of seasons comes less selection. They still always have a few reliable staples, but as I write this review in January, I’m looking forward to the large selection waiting for me in the warmer months. I’ve gone to several other florists in the area(not that we have a whole lot to choose from), but Roses and Blooms is by far my number one choice here. I haven’t tried another florist in well over a year.

So, I’ve only been here once. The variety wasn’t huge but it was also the dead of winter — and what they did have was gorgeous, and the service was just wonderful. The gentleman working there really talked with me about what I was looking for, asked me what I wanted to spend — and wrapped my bouquet beautifully. I asked for simple and elegant and said I wanted to spend around $ 20; it came in at less than that. I was so happy with what I left with and most impersonally, the person to whom I have them commented on how beautiful they were. I’d check these folks out! Their address says Lexington Ave, but the door to the place is actually right around the corner on the side street.
