Do not come here!!! Didn’t trust other reviews and now I have to suck it up. I sent a pretty dress for them to wash but when I got it back, it has the same under-arm sweat stain on it. I doubt they only ironed it without even washing. Then they gave me all kinds of bullshit about how it won’t come off because i used deodorant which is BS cause I never owned a bottle. If you can’t wash a simple dress, don’t call yourself a dry cleaner!

Worst business! They overcharge us already then when we get there they tell us, ooops, it’s actually more money. I dropped off a pair of pants on Tuesday, they said it was 20 $ to add elastic to the waist. OK. Then we called during the week to follow up and the price suddenly jumped to 30 $, was supposed to be ready Saturday. Saturday at 2 pm pant not ready, they don’t admit their fault, I call them, they hang out up me. So they hijacked the price and pants were not ready as promised. They are thieves. There is another place on the Island, will go there from now on.

Unfortunately this is the most convenient cleaners near my apt, otherwise I wouldn’t come here! They charged me $ 10 to simply CUT the hem of a dress(no actual sewing was involved), then claimed they«tried to call» me to confirm the price, since the guy didn’t know what the lady would charge. RIGHT. What a rip off! On top of which, when I complained about the price the guy had the nerve to tell ME that I should come in when the alterations lady was in and told me her schedule — I work on MY schedule, not my cleaners’! What kind of customer service is that??? Definitely not going to be bringing any more business to them — I’d rather take my clothes all the way to Brooklyn than bring them here after that experience. Other than that they’re pretty standard. Manhattan prices on Roosevelt Island just because they don’t have competition.
